Not real athletics but compared to dart, billiard, shooting yes same. Brain and concentration needed.

Throw golf and race car driving in there as well, not much athleticism needed, mostly just brain power.

Video games is for past time and for fun not a sports, is sport is need a physical body movements because the benefits of the sports is to exercise our body to become fit. Basketball and badmenton is the sports to give body movement that can burn all fats.

Video games should not be a sport. First sport  require physical activity, moving your hand all day and starring at a screen is not a sport.

Little bit you are right, but may be most of the people not agree with you, because they consider every game in a sports, so doesn't matter it is video games or not.
But i am fully agree with you, personally, i against video games, because every time kids are playing it and in this wise they gain their weight and also their physical activities are very less, and they become lazy. So in this point wise, we should courage our kids to play sports instead of playing video games.

Sports is competition. Competition that can be played for fun, or at a professional level. So in that sense it's a sport.

Then again so is something like chess. Is chess considered a sport?

I'm really tired of this discussion. Traditionally, no, video games i not sports, but the setup and players have definitely developed into a serious sport and athletes.
