I don't see how can someone use your account to get the reward, i mean the campaign manager can easily identify the scammer. when he verify the posts he will know that he saw them before so automatically the 2nd person is obviously a scammer.. how can the manager miss this ?
Have you seen how many participants are in some of these bounty campaigns? Some campaigns have literally hundreds of participants. 5-10 posts per participant... you could be looking at thousands of posts
every week. Wouldn't be unimaginable for a manager to miss a few. Besides... half of the twitter ones are just "retweets" anyway... so they'll be identical.
I see the root is the ICO companies. If these ICOs would need to spend money out of their pocket then they would definitely make sure that their money is going to spend in the right area. They create bunches of tokens out of no where and paying with these tokens. These tokens are just some points in a websites like membership website, betting websites (i.e: xp etc).
I'd have to agree with this. Also, these tokens aren't just imaginary money made up from nothing... They're created from the money taken from the investors. Still, it isn't money directly coming from the ICO/project... they're effectively spending other peoples money. So again, carefactor = 0.
So, why would they care (the ICOs)? If the managers start denying the projects which will pay the users with token and instead start accepting projects paying with established currencies like BTC/LTC or even ETH, then you will see the improvement of quality of bounty campaigns. You bet.
Would be interesting to see what would happen if the bounty participants stopped accepting tokens and started demanding BTC or ETH payments...
Unfortunately, this is not likely to happen because of human nature and the fact that there are places in the world where earning $5/day is a thing... so there will always be people who will take the chance that their "RandomToken" stakes will be worth something after "working so hard for weeks on campaign"
