EOS and IOTA are two great choices to invest and look forward to as an altcoin aside from Ethereum. They are promising indeed but they are also depending on the market situation of bitcoin.

Exactly, bitcoin is the king of crypto and if it's down the altcoin market will also be affected.
I hope we will see the end of this bearish trend and new money will come in, it's been awhile, we should already get the reward for holding.

Pretty much any altcoin that I think is going to be best investment this year. For now more focus has put forth over ETH, EOS, TRX and NEO. As there is mainet going on successfully for the EOS and TRX I am very much excited to see what they are upto and how they are looking forward to make further developments. If they perform this task well then this investment will worth something.

Rest of altcoin which are always in my portfolio are IOST, JNT, SCL, XRP, ADA and XVG.

For investment in altcoin I always see the altcoin position in coinmarketcap and I will choose altcoin in the top position. A minimum I should have invested in altcoin 2-10 top position. But I always invest in and I will add if I have money in Ethereum, EOS and Tron. If you see the price movement of the three altcoin is indeed very impressive, especially EOS which every day shows a good price increase. In addition I am interested in investing in Binance (altcoin) fixed when looking at good price movements, I think will give big profits in the next few years.
