I just invest my money into big coins like ETH, XLM, XRP and NEO, i'm very sure if you hold that coins more than 1 years it will give you more profit. Patient is the only key if you want to get big profit in cryptocurrency.

Today's investment in altcoin will be better than BTC or ETH, because these two coin are now only intermediaries to buy tokens so their value is constantly decreasing because the ICO sells to fund the project. , they will accept the sale.

My list of favorite altcoins are too many, although I’m not going for all of them cause I don’t have the money to do that. But I have NEO, I am really looking forward and I might do soon. I already have Ethereum and ETC (might sell Classic).

I perosnally like to invest alt coins than BTC.
In alt coins you have ample options. You can select alt coins as per your requirement. There are many options for long term investments and short term investments. I personally like ETH and EOS
Because these coins have vast market cap in cryptos. Also people have faith on these coins.

maybe some people choose the safest way to invest in BTC, but if you choose in Altcoin it's a good choice, because you need to know if Altcoin has a lot of coin choices and you can keep picking it right so that when you invest you can get profit and no loss.

I do not say its right time to buy altcoins for middle term and shot term. I prefer buying old strong coins rather then new ICOs. Market has no clue for me  so  If i gonna buy a new alt coin I must believe a lot and buy it for a long term.

There are two projects I'm investing and looking to invest that I think are promising. One is LOC, low market cap with high potential because the team has a real idea of what they want to do and they are realistic about how to achieve it. They have been consistent with the development of the project. They are still not doing much marketing because they want to develop with their core community and then when to platform is ready for mainstream use they will start their marketing. Their platform is already usable and been used by the community members, they are waiting for the credit card payment to go live.
The other one is Engineer.ai, they are yet to have an ICO. They are an existing company looking to upgrade with new tech including AI, machine learning and blockchain. The whitepaper is a nice read, they have a good idea of the potential of the market they are aiming for and have most of the product base ready.
