If I had to guess the top coins for 2020, I'd guess bitcoin to remain on top, though I admit there is a good chance it will be removed from its leadership position. I would guess the other top two as Ethereum and Cardano, and IOTA as a wild card.

My prediction is still same with coinmarketcap, first place is bitcoin, second is eth, no one can replace them even they have a thousand reason. Except blockchain also use into another financial instrument or create another product supported by government. Without that this condition will running until the end of crypto market. Many coins comes up with their performance but replace the leader, please think again.

I think bitcoin, ethereum and ripple will stay as the topmost coins until the year 2020. I saw the potential with bitcoin and ethereum and still they will be on the top. If any altcoin will dethrone bitcoin before reaching 2020 then the cryptocurrency market will no longer be the same again since bitcoin is always dictating the market. I agree with your point. The top 3 coin in 2020 is likely to be the location of 3 Cardin coin (ADA), ethereum, EOS. I think LTC will also be in the top three

here's the thing, all alts will depend on the father of altcoins which is BTC, in terms of ROI, maybe BTC can't compete with the low cap alts but the certainty of liquidity and future goes to bitcoin. Bitcoin should you invest first as the bitcoin caries less risk than the low cap altcoins. But its up to you what you choose as long as you knew what you're doing.

My top coin is for sure Bitcoin. It's the big daddy of the bunch and always will be.   Number 2 will be Ethereum.  My pick for position number 3 is IOTA.

For 2nd, I think Ethereum.
And the 3rd, I think Neo.
