In the UK, theirs a store called CEX where you can buy second hand dvds, computer games, consoles etc. CEX is in all the main towns and cities and is very popular, been around nearly 20 years now. Any way i noticed on their website that you can pay with bitcoin, on their website.
"Payments - To buy any product from Webuy.com you must make payment using a valid UK credit or debit card, PayPal account, Bitcoin or CeX voucher."

Are you sure about that? They used to accept bitcoin, but there's no mention of it now. They've even removed the bitcoin logo from the bottom of their accepted payments:

No mention of it here either:

What payment options do CeX offer for online orders?

Modified on: Mon, 27 Nov, 2017 at 12:19 PM

The following 4 options are available as payment methods for online orders:

    PayPal
    Cheque
    CeX Voucher
    Bank Transfer (FPS)

For PayPal, please ensure that the email address used on your CeX account matches the one on your PayPal account, any differences may delay the payment. If you choose to receive a Cheque, it will be made out to the name on the CeX account, this cannot be amended.

To help ensure you get your money as quickly as possible, please keep all of your payment details up-to-date and correct. You can check this in the My Account section on webuy.com.

Microsoft accepts Bitcoin. You can "redeem" Bitcoin on your Microsoft account and make purchases through the online Microsoft store. They are the Biggest retailer that I know of that accepts Bitcoin. Other large retailers are Newegg and Overstock. In Japan, Bic Camera is a large retailer and you can use Bitcoin to purchase items in all of their stores. That was pretty cool. These are huge legitimate businesses.

I'm not sure Microsoft has issued an official statement about it, they are still in the stage of developing their own currency and have not adopted bitcoin legally. If this applies to developing countries will also experience serious problems where many countries do not consider the cryptocurrency-especially bitcoin as a legitimate payment instrument. There are many things we can buy from bitcoin but can not move nationally and recognized by the government.

In The Czech republic you can pay with Bitcoin for example on the online shop for getting tesla (car Smiley, in Prague we have gas station when it is also possible to pay with cryptocurrencies and I saw even FB groups, where people rent their appartements and allow you to pay in Bitcoin, even sale of the appartements. Bitcoin is spreading wide.

While some say it’s digital gold, it’s no secret that Bitcoin’s volatility and slow, expensive transactions have held the coin back from wide adoption as a payment method. The release of the Lightning Network is certainly a step towards fixing these problems.

Airplane tickets to Latvia
A special shout-out is in order for airBaltic, not because it flies to Latvia (and other parts of Europe and the Middle East), but because in 2014 it became the first airline in the world to accept bitcoins for those flights.

It means the OP is lying to us all. He gives false information. I never used Cex, but I was too surprised with this information. OP should correct this information!

I've heard rumors you can buy gold, property and even sports cars directly with bitcoins. Obviously there are loads of scammers these days, does anyone know of any such legitimate companies and what products you can currently buy?

In my country Philippines, I guess few people/stalls only accept Bitcoin as a payment. The main purpose of Bitcoin to its users nowadays is, Bitcoin is an investment and not a way of payment. Therefore, you really need to convert your Bitcoin into Fiat in order to buy what do you want/need to buy.

I think when you are looking for stores, they are just less who are accepting bitcoins. But when you look online, you can almost buy everything with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. So people who are smart are accepting cryptocurrencies and hold them, because they got an even bigger profit then. But untill the mainstream will accept bitcoin in the stores, it will take some time!

It depends on your country on what can you buy using your bitcoins because here I do not know anything that accepts bitcoins as a payment aside from the Facebook groups that are accepting it in exchange through their things pike for example they are online resellers not retailers but still they accepts bitcoins as a mode of payment but as far as I know there is no stores here that are accepting bitcoins because if they do that would be awesome maybe Japanese people will be the one who will do that.

I think it depends on what is available in the crypto store and which country has it. I've heard about you can buy the real estate, car and even the chicken in KFC you can pay with bitcoin, but I couldn't find it in my country because that kinda offers it doesn't exist yet. So it might be in the future.

I honestly do not know much about which stores receive payments with bitcoin because my own country prohibits transactions with bitcoins. So there can be no store in my country that receives bitcoin as a means of payment. I just read from a country that receives bitcoin as a means of payment. The average store in the country has received many payments with bitcoin, such as buying KFC with bitcoin in Canada, buying houses and luxury cars in a country in Europe that I forgot the name of the country. If I am private, I use bitcoin to buy cosmetics and clothes from abroad. But it was not through the shop, I transfer in bitcoin form through my friend who was in Europe. I've also bought software with bitcoin.

Whatever the form, money is used to make transactions. Of course no one cares about the value of BitCoin if in fact can not be used to transact real. Then, what can you buy using BitCoin?
Before going any further, you must understand the meaning of BitCoin first. This will help you understand the approximate of who or what business can use BitCoin. BitCoin is a decentralized currency which means that no people, groups or organizations produce or make BitCoin regulations.
