Too big expectation about EOS - they have no nothing now and 5th on coinmarketcap, so it looks like a big bubble.
Etherium is a good working product with Plasma+Casper testing to solve existing scalability problems.

I think Ethereum will always be above EOS really. Eth hastjefirst mover advantage and oncethe scaling solutions really kick in, its just gonna run.

Eos looks like it's being fuelled by massive amounts of hype at the moment. Retrospectively i should have taken a position in it but now im gonna wait. If it doesnt retrace il happily miss the boat. In short, No, i dont think it will beat ethereum long term

Who go beyond who is not sure now, because of the development of the ETH earlier than EOS for several years, is an advantage in time, put it on a EOS technology now instead of after use, what specific situation and validated in the later days! Now everything is full of uncertainty!

EOS will have instant and free transactions, but it seems to me its decentralization is not full, EOS on paper is definitely better than Ethereum EOS has yet to prove itself, we have not yet seen how it works, Ethereum does not stand still, it is evolving.

If dPoS will be considered better than PoW probably the eos adoption will increase and that of eth will reduce but there is to consider the ethereum network effect so it is difficult to answer

I think two years is not enough for EOS to surpass Ethereum because EOS needs a lot of Dapps built on its platform and we need to know that many platforms are competing in the market of Dapps, EOS has competitors such as NEO, Waves, ADA, Achain, QTUM, etc and they're better prepared than the EOS that just launched its mainnet

Some experts say that with EOS you can do basically everything that you can do with Ethereum added with a few extra features. With EOS programmers wouldn’t need to write so much code like with Ether because EOS provides code features as a base. With Ethereum the programmer would need to rewrite the code. With EOS you aren’t supposed to pay anything for smart contracts or actions that you take. All of this sounds almost too good to be true but it will be extremely interesting to see how it will be in the future. But I think it’s too early to say anything. I hope and believe for the best.

Let us say that EOS can, but the question is: will it?
It is good to be optimistic about things but we should never neglect the reality. ETH is far too strong for EOS to handle now or two years from now. People might be just optimistic now because we can see big profits from EOS but what will happen after then? Nobody truly knows that's why we cannot be too certain. And for the record, in what aspect will EOS surpass ETH? Price? Dominance? Market cap? Capability?

Forecast about the development of software, it is difficult to give. At the moment, developers are working on the first full-fledged release of their program. As for the forecast for the rate of the crypto currency, it will depend on the success of the project itself.

it's different category project i mean,
Ethereum is a decentralized platform that runs smart contracts.
and EOS is a blockchain platform for the development of decentralized applications (dapps), similar to Ethereum in function.
The EOS vision is to build a blockchain dapp platform that can securely and smoothly scale to thousands of transactions per second.
on investement category,ETH still unmatched

If you talking about price, I believe till 2020 it could be possible.
Not because I believe in EOS, but because I believe that in cryptoworld everything is possible. And there are 1,5 years till 2020, so plenty of time.

But, I hope it won´t happen, as I am ETH investor  Wink

No one can deny the great potential of the EOS. I believe the EOS will probably reach $ 60-70 in the medium term. However, Eos is very difficult to surpass ETH. ETH has a strong brand, a large community, thousands of DAPs are running on ETH's blockchain and ETH's development team is working seriously to make ETH get 1M txs / s,

Ethereum is far ahead of EOS, EOS will be the project that would under-delivered most, alot of people will lose their money in these project, $4 billion for a project with nothing to delivered and alot of rumors of bugs found in their code, I can't wait to see the price dived very hard after the platform is hacked

By seeing present value and popularity, It is very tough to tell, Because EOS May overcome even Ethereum if they are adding new features day by day. Today, in binance, EOS has more volume than Bitcoin and Ethereum. Though I still agree that Ethereum will be huge in 2020 too, No other altcoins can't replace Etehrem for many reasons, But EOS can take the Etehrem position even for once, like Ripple. And I want to see EOS in Number 3 on the coinmarketcap, not Ripple.

Everything is possiblez but we can really say it now, because we have not seen how does the mainnet of EOS actually works. Other that Ether is not the only competitor, there are a lot of great projects like NEO, IOST, IOTA ByteBall, and many others. Let's just wait and see.
