Is having a working demo or MVP the most important? Is it all about the team or does that not matter if they've already demonstrated their competence? Do you want the ICO team to generate hype and "oversell" or would you rather a more honest and direct approach?
for me the most important thing in ico is honest and what it is. and is part of honesty is if they can show their prototype, this is a bit more proof that their project is real

I prefer a direct approach and supporting ICOs with working product. Of course, the vision is also important
but it is worth nothing if it is unrealistic or the Team is not capable to realize it. I am always following the
projects on Github as well to see how the development progressing.

I prefer a direct approach that has real work proof such as a test or launching an MVP, to gain trust and interest from investors.

Most of the people invest in ICO to make money, and a very few people invest to help to start a new project. Basically, I invested in ico to make money, though i stopped investing because of this bull market.

Having taken some time to look at a number of ICO's in depth, it looks to me that a large number of them may be marketers first and developers second. They all seem to be great at selling a vision or product but when you actually start to scratch beneath the surface, you start to notice that they promise the impossible, if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. That's not to say that all ICOs are like that, there's a number of very well thought out and genuine ones.

So my question is, what do you want from an ICO with regards to its presentation and what they offer? Is having a working demo or MVP the most important? Is it all about the team or does that not matter if they've already demonstrated their competence? Do you want the ICO team to generate hype and "oversell" or would you rather a more honest and direct approach?

Do we live in the perfect world? If yes, then kind of same things what shares on the stock market offers. Dividends. Oh, also that there would be liquidity and quarterly full reports of the company. Then, more people will have trust in such projects and the price will grow.
Also MVP I would say have to be a must to run an ICO and the team must be verified by the 3d party and big portion of funds escrow should freeze.

It is important for me that the ICO is transparent and available for analysis of participants and investors . The more money it will be invested the more successful the project will be .

Maybe my opinion is not the same as you. For me, ICO is a good ICO as long as it gives me a high probability of making money. In fact, I don't really care about the products or background behind them. I use these conditions as a reference because if there is a strong background, then this token has the potential to make me profitable.

I personally look that it is not a scam first and then the quality and usability of the project itself.

Some good projects exists out there that might be really useful for mankind in a determined field for the future. However, it is extremely important to research the management team to see if they know what they're doing. The project could be really good, but the people in charge needs to make the right decisions also.

Hunting ICOs only for profits is really dangerous and i personally don't like that game. I support causes. The ones who get good at it can get big profits sometimes though.

For me, the main thing in the project is its demand in society. If it is really needed, it will have a very good impact on its success and profits in the future for both developers and investors

So most of the time I pay more attention to the liquidity and heat of this token.
If the token has enough followers, there is a good chance it will make a profit from the project.

So is the token itself more important than whatever platform they want to build to use that token on? I guess that would make sense if you're investing to make a profit as it's the token that you hold that you would actually sell.

It's more important to know the real usage of the token whether where and how it will be use. Honestly, those ico that the product is just an app is definitely a big no for me better to choose a token that will be use like in betting or in trading platform. And liquidity will just be a secondary to it.

Always look for a product that is timely and idealistic.

I don´t want quick profits, but I don´t want to buy something that goes to 25% in a week, that is not a way of investing. ICOs should set more realistic goals.

Currently I am an ICO bounty hunter. I just want to earn some money to invest in ICO x10. But I suspect the current Mayor is falling, that is unlikely

The marketing part is important in any business. And of course the better the project will be presented, the more interesting it will be for investors. What do I want from ICO? And what do they want from any investment? Of course the profit. This is the main goal. And I will not care how much the project is advertised if I get a good profit.

Personally I just want an ICO that I can trust with my money knowing that when I put my money in it I can get it back with profit at the  end.An ICO with a good product to offer that people can believe will still be here in the long term. One that sticks to the set ICO time and does not try to extend it to make more money from investors.

It is important for me that the ISO project is based on a real product or business, which has prospects in the future. For example, I can take the ICO project - Docademic. The project is based on the real idea of telemedicine and it has excellent prospects for development. Or, for example - Dropil, which is based on algorithms of arbitrage trading with the help of auto trading. There are not very many such projects, but they all have tremendous success in the crypto industry.

Money of course! Every new technology can be either useless or very profitable. In case it is the second, you must be ahead of others in order to use the advantage of early supporter. So, I am there to learn more about subj and "be in the stream" and make extra money where it is possible.
Unfortunately I was late on bull run in Autumn 2017 Sad. But as I can see, the second chance was given to me Smiley. So, I'm looking forward to the next race!

Every ICO has it product. So the first thing i look out for from these ICOs are working products or how they intend to achieve it. If it works out well, i will be glad, because it will have easy adoption. A project with a working product will definitely have good value, which brings profit.

All I want from an ICO is an active and long run development. A project won't be huge for a long time if its progress will only be seen at its first months in the market. those that are having continuous progress are those that will have continuous mrket growth which would highly reflect the project itself.  Most of these ICOs are product ICOs.
