Hardware wallet are the safe and secure wallet. The most trustable wallet with safe and secure options. Because of the private key hardware wallets are very safe. So hacking these type of wallet is not so easy. Some of the hardware wallets such as ledger nano s. This is one of the best wallet with all safe and secure features.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I don't think so that hardware wallet can be hacked because i personally use ledger nano s and it has a screen on device which means when u are sending money it shows the address on screen which cannot be changed so u can verify it before sending that is it correct or not and moreover your private key is offline so its impossible to hack your coins from the device.

No, the hackers cannot hack the hardware wallet. The hardware wallets act offline. So, there is minimum chance of it getting hacked.

There were some news this year that 15 years old teenager have hacked into Ledger nano S. So if you will loose your hardware wallet maybe (but doubtfully) some genius teenager hacker can hack it... Nevertheless, all these hardware wallets are well protected tools, so better not to forget passwords....

He didn't "hack into ledger nano S".

What he did was modify the firmware in such a way as to make it possible to load a custom firmware onto the device while the device still believed it to be an official firmware. By doing this he was able to load a firmware that would generate a known seed... however, it was still not possible to actually extract the existing seed or private keys from a device that was already initialised.

I think yes, It is not possible to beat the hardware wallet. Since it always stays offline, so hackers are unable to enter the gate of hacking it.

Most of the hardware wallets gain maximum security by saving private key and by signing Bitcoin transactions offline, so if anyone tries to hack a hardware wallet remotely cannot do it. Theyy also use a second screen to verify every action of the wallet like signing into a transaction. So a hacker requires access to the physical device connected to the computer thus it becomes impossible to hack it.

The software wallet is connected to an internet,so when it is connected to internet the wallet can be hacked.Like software wallet is hardware wallet can be hacked? Is it possible to hack?Is hardware wallet completely offline?

Nowadays, a lot of people are offering amazing, secured, reliable and other so called adjectives that can attract people and use their very own electronic wallet or e-wallet. In the other hand, a lot of people are amazingly unsecuring this e-wallet that may be due to scam and other malicious welfare they could create. So I guess even if it is hardware or/and you think you are secured enough you still have to take care of what you gain.

Firstly I think there is no way to hacked hardware wallet. On the other hand, I also think it could be. About the software, there is no perfect security system. Hardware wallets cannot be hacked if it never been connected to a device that is connected to the internet but can be hacked if someone has physically accessed the hardware. So we have to be careful in keeping our hardware Wallet.
To date, a hardware wallet is considered a safe storage of your savings, but this can change at any time in the future. Technologies are developing, including criminal ones too. Therefore, you must pay great attention to the security of your storage. And do not keep all the savings in one place

Today, hardware wallet are the most secure type. But when technology changes day by day, hardware wallet can be hacked easily. So do not put all in one place

As much as I know ther is no possiblity of hardware wallet being hacked as you need to deal with a physical device here. Fo this I prefer hardware wallet the most and it provides you with the maximum security.

Your hardware wallet is only as secure as your method of storing your seed phrase, or if you are careless with revealing your PIN in public.

There is no such thing as "unhackable".

Technology do evolve but hacking a hardware wallet remotely would really be an impossible thing to do.We do know on how hardware wallet works when it comes to storage and into its own key. The only way that it can be hacked if keys would be exposed public or when its already involved with some malware but talking about exploits or whatsoever for now its still unhackable.

If able to have control over the bitcoin you holded in your wallet means finally that will be safer side for long time mate. It will normal for any kind of wallet, none of provider have access to your wallet. Only exchange wallet only have the access over your private key.
Personally I do not believe the whales who saying that their site has been hacked bro. There is much possiblities that to see they itself loot our money. For hardware wallet you can believe it. There would not be any problem with it.

The safest one is to use paperwallet, but of course it can only be kept there if there is a long-term storage purpose. Hardware wallets are also pretty safe by the way, never heard the news of hacking, but remember, nothing is guaranteed 100%.

I think the biggest vulnerablilty for hard wallets was the connectivity requirements to smartphones. I think the one-time password is a great way to support security for that.

Just because you are dealing with a physical device, this does not mean it is unhackable.
New vulnerabilities can always be found and exploited. Nothing is guaranteed to be 100% safe and secure.

A vulnerability inside the ledger architecture has been found which allowed an attacker to replace the firmware with a malicous version.
This has been fixed. And it could not lead to via the internet. Physical access prior someone using the nano s is necessary for this attack.

I think the biggest vulnerablilty for hard wallets was the connectivity requirements to smartphones.

Hardware wallets are not required to be connected to smartphones (some allow you to pair them with a mobile wallet).
And even if they would require such a connection, this would not pose any security threat. This is simply due to the fact that the private keys are generated and stored inside the hardware wallet.
They won't ever leave the device. Transactions are being sent from the mobile to the hardware wallet (an attacker might be able to insert a malicious TX here), then signed on the device after approving it via pressing the physical buttons. If you are checking the transaction on the nano s screen and only approve correct transactions, there is no other way of stealing coins in such a scenario.

I think if you use a software storage wallet. You must have a private key. if you have a private key, no one can hack it.
