Ripple has a potential as it became a number 2 in coinmarketcap upon replacing ethereum recently. Partnering with banks is a good sign that this project is moving to obtain it's best potential and the value will surely rise in the future if it continue to happen.
Though it will take time for it's value to skyrocket as it has big amount of circulating supply which is 40plus billion but once it dominate the market, it's value will surely rise again to 3-5$ in the nearest time.

That competition between ETH is really close, soon ETH might again overtake the no. 2 spot but that shows Ripple has outperformed ETH in the past 2 years. We don't know when ETH will start a big pump, right now, it's still sitting at a loss since it's down big time, like 90%. |

Agree to ripple a lot of questions and of course few people believe in this coin, and actually in the growth as well, I have long since translated from ripple and invested in good coins |

Those who rally round ripple have either or all of these 3 problems from my perspective, They're shortsighted and do not think about the future not even 5 years ahead, They are completely illogical, or They do not know exactly the features or characteristics that a genuine cryptocurrency should have. |

Ripple went up again and so as the other cryptocurrencies, you just have to trust the altcoin that you are favored of, don't let the hillbillies tell you nonsense about Ripple or just simply with any other cryptocurrencies, if the market goes green, so does the other altcoins, and look at ripple right now, they are sitting on #2 in the rankings just below Ethereum.

Ripple is a strong coin, though I don't like it, but I can admit it. I think that Ripple will constantly compete with Ethereum for the second place.

Ripple has everything that can skyrocket again, even when the market red Ripple can fight and has several times taken second place from ethereum, and this is what makes me optimistic that Ripple has the potential to skyrocket in the future.

Ripple is not the currency to pay your attention to. This is the year of the cheaper altcoins. Some cryptocurrencies that are under a dollar now, will be the gainers: Napoleon X, TRON, Credits.

A whole lot of bullshit in this topic, ranging from "It's centralized", "Bankers coin", "made to destablilize crypto", "Not a real crypto", to bunch of nonsense whether it's 2nd or 3rd in Market Cap, whether the price can go up or not, etc, etc.
Been 2 years in and I must say, not much has changed. Bunch of FUDsters, clueless people who haven't read a single article on something, yet continue to spew pure BS about it.
Please, do continue to look and sound like a dumbass to anyone that actually read about it.
We're laughing our asses out for 2 years, what's another 1- X for us.
For those that actually want to think on their own, go READ, go RESEARCH. Take your time, ask questions, search for bad things. Took me 3 weeks before I made my decision, so don't rush.
And do NOT listen to ANYONE on this or any other forum. 99% is pure bullshit which will make you lose money.

when some of the altcoins are below, it will be good for investors and people who believe in the crypto market. I myself am not sure this situation will continue. the market will not be forever below, there will come a time when the market will rise again, and I'm sure it will be followed by altcoin. |

but in reality the current ripple returns to top2 cmc and shifts the position of ethereum, to be honest I don't really like this, maybe because ethereum continues to decline so many investors shift investment in ripples |

Nevertheless, this is not the real crypto. Being the centralized currency, Ripple does not attracts many investors. I believe that it will grow and recover soon but it will hardly reach the price level of January 2018.
