That depends on you. You have the fund and you can investment but with care but that does not stop your engaging in a bounty campaign and make some free coin which can in turn be sold for real cool cash.

If you are really willing to earn you can actually both easily, you can invest your money depending on you on how you gonna invest it, either you can invest in different coins or just one coin but I really suggest invest with bitcoin even tho it is a short-term but then I also suggest with long-term investment. As I said you can also do bounty campaign while investing which is not really hard to do, I mostly do bounty campaign and I'm investing for long-term.

I always prefer to do bounty instead of investment or short term trading, because bounties are best way to earn money without any investment.

$ 400 is sufficient funds to engage in any activity in the crypto world and if you want to trade short term I strongly advise you to split a few percent with the funds you have to buy some coins that have pretty good potential. so like the saying that you should not buy eggs in one basket and the goal is that you have more of a coin type that you can backup when one of the coin types looks not potentially good.

My best advice is even that if he really wants to trade short term then he should be ready to learn a lot before even thinking of it at all.

Yes I go for bounty campaign because that's all I can do for now and I think there's no problem with that because I'm also helping out cryptocurrency to build up. If I were you (not necessarily mean you have to follow my advice), I will do both the short trading and bounty campaign. Since I guess that you know about some trading technique and knowledge, it is the best option for you to get into trading with $400 to start with.
