Our Telegram channel hit 100 subscribers today! Which is great, and we did gift a planet to our 100th follower on Telegram. He was astounded, which led us to believe that Discord - being a few space-wolves short of a hundred (92 right now) - should keep up with Telegram.

To get a chance to win another free planet, you should use your Discord Instant Invite link (without expiration date) to get as many invites as possible to join our Discord (Fake invites will be disqualified). The first 3 places will get an epic, a rare and a common planet respectively (i.e. 1st place=epic, 2nd place=rare, 3rd place=common). And most definitely our 100th Discord channel's member will get a planet as well.

To create an Instant Invite link that never expires (if you don't set this it will expire in 24 hours), follow these steps (also see the screenshots for better understanding): 1. Click on the "general" channel to the left and then click on the "person with a small plus symbol" icon. 2. A window will open with your Instant Invite link, you should tick the box saying "Set this link to never expire". 3. Everything is ready, now share this link (click "Copy") with anyone.

- We will count the number of people invited by all the participants and announce our prize-winners.

So, about a week ago our team took part in GameNode Hackathon.

We set out to demonstrate our skills and develop a game based on blockchain within 2 days. And now we are excited to say that our team has won a prize as the Best Remotely Developed Game!

Good news! 0xUniverse update 1.6 is out!

Small fixes and changes have been made, see the full changelog:

- Added spaceship invention animation
- Corrected resource nomenclature. No more duplicate resource abbreviations - they are now the same in all languages
- Resolved the issue that caused a player’s transactions screen to freeze up (the issue’s been experienced by players having too many transactions already)
- Planets can now be gifted using a player’s nickname (i.e. you can type a name in the input field instead of wallet address)
- Players experiencing problems with copying addresses when gifting a planet can now use this link format as a workaround: https://play.0xuniverse.com/?planet=123&giftTo=0x123123123
- The Options menu will display the current game version from now on
- Added scrollbars to all in-game windows
- Gas limit for planet search transactions is now 2 000 000 (1 million wasn’t enough for some players)
- Added new View On Etherscan buttons

You remember we promised that something football-related would appear in the wake of the FIFA World Cup, right? Patience gets rewarded, so here and now we are proudly presenting you with Baccer, a LEGENDARY football-style planet (some of you may have noticed it on your "radars" already). Mind you, this "ball" will not be just floating around in space. It will go to the winner of our new contest.

THE CONTEST

Imagine it is the year 2100. Interstellar travel has been possible for a while now and humankind's space settlement has been going at full steam. Hundreds of planets have already been colonized. Vigorous health is the number one requirement for space colonists to be able to succeed in accomplishing their space missions. And what better way to stay healthy than to play sports.

So imagine if football existed in 2100, what would it look like? Or if it didn't exist, would there be another sports game as exciting as football?

Use your imagination and write an original brief story. The winner (the best story) will get this amazing football planet!

HOW TO ENTER

1) Have a registered 0xUniverse game account and wallet address.
2) Follow us on our Facebook and on our Twitter.
3) Create your story.
4) Share your story either here OR on our Twitter. See Note 1 and Note 2 below.

Note 1: If you prefer Facebook, share this event post on your page and add the story you invented when sharing.
Note 2: If you prefer Twitter, retweet the event post and add your story to the retweet.

You don't have to post both on Facebook and Twitter: choose the one social media that suits you best.

HOW THE WINNER WILL BE DETERMINED

2) Our developer team will choose the 5 best stories submitted. Afterwards a public vote will be held for everyone to be able to participate and choose the winning story out of these five.

The contest will be held from August 1 (starting from this moment) till August 8, 2018 (ending at 21:00 GMT). The winner will be, as was mentioned above, determined in a public vote, which will be held after the contest ends.

You know that our development of the mobile version is at full speed. Right now we can boast an early version! The game is perfectly functional on iOS, as you can see in the video below. More importantly, signing in is already possible via Trust - Ethereum Wallet. We are actively working together with the team behind this wallet so as to make 0xUniverse easy and safe to play.

Guys, here is the next update. Version 1.7 is live!

- Added a menu to the bottom left corner of the map where players can now choose different types of sectors to be highlighted:
1) with planets on sale;
2) with planets owned by players (“my planets”);
3) with legendary planets
- We’ve received lots of requests to add music. So we’ve introduced background music to the game
- In-game notifications can be switched off now
- Players will receive emails when their planets are sold
- The game’s been translated into French and Lithuanian
- Known bugs have been fixed

Probably that's why I am waiting. So basically the idea is to collect as many plants as possible, right? Is there any concept of PVE or PVP in game? What can we do with planets after colonizing them (other than selling them of course)?

Correct, for now resources are used only to build other spaceships and find new planets. Soon will be released 0xBattleships, where you will be able to build use and sell spaceships and many more. It is just beginning! Stay in touch! Thank you for following us .
