Update 3.0.3 is live!

Changelog:

- Storing the actual state of planets' resources as well as spaceships' blueprints is now being done on the game server, as we mentioned before. That means:

1) You don't have to make transactions to invent ships
2) The blockchain transactions of launching ships and finding new planets require less GAS
3) Calculation of knowledge and resources is now more accurate
4) Our public API now shows the actual state of planet resources
5) The most important thing here: this update allows the team to implement buildings, battles, using black holes etc (the old architecture did not allow this)

- Also. The auction auto-cancellation function has been removed as it caused inconvenience and misunderstanding for many players. From now on the way it works is: you can now buy a planet after its auction has expired - the way 0xWarriors and 0xRacers work, and the cancellation will have to be done manually (this had to be done also because of the resource function changes).

- Other stuff:

1) The planet screen now displays icons showing whether a planet is available for rent. Also you will see whether a planet is full on resources
2) Another boost to 0xU promotion: Axies' owners will see their tokens inhabiting the planets too, so the kitties and cuties won't be alone. Hope to see more players joining after that!
3) Bug fixes and UI improvements
4) Mobile version updated

1. Keep in mind that main market is on 0xUniverse official website. You can't list your planets on Opensea and on 0xUniverse auction at the same time. So better check both markets.

2. If I understand you correctly to backup and import your MetaMask wallet you must have your 12 seed phrases.

- Plans to add more interplay between 0xG's games? - All game developers are focused on their projects, may change in the future as interrelations between the games is the team's long-term goal
- 0xBattleships? - The project is still frozen in the form in which it was announced. The team plans to restart it as an AAA MMO with real open economy
- Keeping up with Opensea isn't top priority but images are uploaded on a regular basis
- Do you expect more people to come in? - Definitely yes, significantly more advertising is being bought

- The team does not perceive CK as a competitor but to outdo rivals there will be:
1) new game mechanics that will consume resources;

Update 3.3.0 is here!

Changelog:

1) Our team is excited to introduce you to the 1st version of our own wallet - 0xWallet. It boasts great speed and is easy to use. Please feel free to try it out and leave your feedback.

Mind you, this 1st version will be storing account data locally. That means if the game data is deleted the account data will be removed as well. So you HAVE TO SAVE the private keys in a separate secure place!

The next version of the wallet will be capable of storing account data securely on our server so that you could restore the data, if need be. That data will be encrypted with a password which only you will know, so no one else (including us, the wallet’s developers) will be able to access it.

2) Fixed the issue that emerged following the Istanbul update of the Eth blockchain.

3) You can now see the progress of your transactions getting synced

4) Corporations’ shares can now be sold even if there is an active Head election in progress (in that case, your vote will be withdrawn/canceled automatically)

5) Fixed the bug preventing players from using Ledgers connected via MetaMask

6) Many minor fixes and improvements

0xUniverse update 3.4 is live!

Changelog:

- You can construct buildings on planets! Right now players will be able to build factories. However, there will also be transportation and decorative buildings later on. Creating a building costs 1 energy

- Energy. Factories will let you produce energy using the planet core. Energy will be needed to construct buildings and combat fleets (the latter one is a future feature)

- Ship boosts. You will now be able to use energy to improve your colonization starships’ characteristics. One boost will cost 1 energy and kicks in upon your next ship launch making its radar and engine 20% more efficient as well as requiring more population. After the launch the ship’s parameters go back to their old values

- Limited energy sale. The UEG will be selling a limited batch of energy to those interested. Note that a player-to-player energy market will be introduced in about 10 days where space explorers will be able to trade with each other

- Minor bug fixes, improvements

Another important thing: the Rebels corporation will be the last one for now and United Earth will not be creating new corporations in the foreseeable future.

2020/01/23 Q&A summary is already here!

- Active usage of energy is tied to Corporation Wars? Other updates should see energy being used as well

- What resources will be needed in corporation wars: most likely you will need all kinds of resources. - The main purpose of the battles will sector control

- Marketing strategy in the future: our main strategy for now is to buy ads on Facebook and similar networks. We've been doing this since September with breaks.

We will soon be able to resume the process hopefully

- 0xU resources in 0xRacers: we will think about it in the future

- When planet destruction: the annihilators of planets will soon be able to do this. A month or two

- Factory extraction timer: The timer shows how much time is needed to get at least 1 Energy. We think that it is enough to get all necessary resources and to use

(once per day) the button "Collect energy from all factories". BUT: a lot of feedback says the interface is not very clear, so we'll consider ways of improving this

- The current price of 0.05 ETH / 0XE: it's the result of very complex calculations and analysis

- Destroying a factory: while this is not possible now the team might consider adding it

- Hyper Market: 1,500 planets are left out of 10,000. We are planning to buy planets from players then

- Legendaries left: in the current galaxy players haven't found new legendaries for a long time, so most likely they have all been found. But we're expecting to see

a new world soon where our story continues

- New galaxies, separate game: no, the universe will be united, black holes will play the key role

- Is the +20% an add to the base of 30%, or a x1.2 multiplier: x1.2 multiplier

- When new legendaries: in the next big update

- Current roadmap for the game: will soon begin expansion beyond the galaxy. Then there will be wars. Other plans as well, not disclosed yet

- How actively does the dev team look at the suggestions: Alex Fedd is reading everything and adds to our task list. Then we set priorities and implement things

- Any plans to upgrade graphics: we like the art style of the gameplay and see no reason to change it

- Crypto art? planet skins to be sold as NFTs:  Sounds like a good idea, we can do it

- What happens to the unsold energy which was produced by Earth goverment: Earth government will burn it

The 0xE market is open!

How does the 0xE market work? Let’s have a look at this illustrative example:

- Say, you got player A who sells 10 units of 0xE for 0.1 Eth. And you have player B who sells 20 0xE units for 0.2 Eth. Now imagine you have player C who wants to buy 15 units of 0xE. What happens next?
The 0xE market will pick the best price for player C: that player C will buy from both player A and B - all within one transaction. So player C will buy 10 units from player A (as it is the lower price in this case) and 5 units from player B.
All in all, anyone can set whatever price they want. And when someone is willing to buy 0xE, they will be buying for the lowest price.

- To stop selling set 0 both as the amount and price
