Your image is 2.6MB, perhaps that has something to do with it, not exactly sure, try a smaller one.

Nice server PSU hookup btw  Wink

Thanks, re-sizing did the trick!

^^^ Look awesome...

What is the power consumption?

Each rack consumes 48A @ 208V Single Phase. (24A each PDU) Each PSU powers 6 Ants, each bank of 3 ants is fed with a single 4awg wire (single + and single -) to the distribution block.

This only goes to prove what I have been saying all along, 55nm silicon runs too hot, you have to operate the stuff in your underwear just to keep cool!

It is good to see women getting into IT though Smiley

Here are my Ants powered by a HP DPS-800GB server supply w/ custom breakout board wired to a Raspberry Pi running MinePeon so I can monitor the status and power cycle remotely.

Edit: does anyone know why the embedded image isn't working right?

Whoa, I didnt know you can hookup AntS1's to a Pi... Do you know of any tutorial for doing this?

I don't think he's actually running a cgminer on the Pi to control the Ants. I think the two Ants are pointed at the Pi, and the Pi acts as a proxy to control the hashrate of both Ants at the same time. It also controls the PSU for easy reboots of the Ants.

I could be wrong, but that's what it looks like he's doing.

I'm lost haha... too much of a noob. It would be great if it was a standalone unit with wifi too Smiley love anything that can just run on its own, no need for SSH and proxies...

But this looks like a really interesting setup. After my Ants finish their hosting with my vendor, I plan to take them home and start solo mining with them... but if its not possible with a pi, I would maybe just have a small collection of USB AntU1's and U2's solo mining on solopool.com

Other then needing a PSU, it is standalone and will work with wifi... Plug in, configure web portal (IP,Pool,..), mine!

I see so many people with their ants side mounted & stacked.  What kind of heat do you guys see on the bottom card?  I don't even see a second fan on this rig..which btw is freaking AWESOME!!

I only have a signature because I'm allowed.

I have mine stacked 4 high.  On the high end, temp wise, i'm at 45C.  I'm overclocked with fans out of the back and two fans sweeping across the blade.  Depending on my weekend, I might do 2 x 2 and see what type of temps I get.

Mine is an outdoor rig on my patio, so I use the bugnet just in case.
