Increasing the bit rate of the price and other upgrade features

To stimulate trading on some pairs, our team decided to increase the bit depth of prices in the following currencies:

DOGE/BTC;
TRX/BTC;
BCN/BTC;
BXB/ETH;
MFC/BTC;
AGR/BTC;
BTT/BTC;
FOOD/BTC;
LINDA/BTC;
CSC/BTC.

Increasing the bit rate will allow you to trade more fractional prices less than 1 Satoshi. This will allow you to increase liquidity on currency pairs with a low exchange rate and further narrow the spread, making trading attractive.

On the trading page, in the block with orders, you can view active orders or your trade history for all currencies at the same time! Just tick the box ✔ lot next to the appropriate field.

And something else new… Now you will log in to your account automatically after entering the 2FA code.

This is all news for today, but very soon we will launch real accounts in margin trading! Follow the news of the exchange!

For reference:
The bit value of the price is the number of decimal places. Until today, the bit value of the price for the above currencies was equal to 8 digits after the decimal point, but now 9-10 characters are available.

Traders are having their first profit money

In the middle of the last week BITEXBOOK has launched real margin trading accounts. Some traders decided to take couple of days off, but some of them decided to earn a coin by opening short positions.

During this weekend price of BTC went down. There were some traders, who examined the situation on the market and decided to use their chance: they used leverage to make a bet on fall of BTC. And they were right: this move brought some good money.

Margin trading is a good instrument in hands of traders. If you learn how to use it, you can earn money ten times bigger by speculating on crypto.

Margin accounts are now available in RUBLES (RUB)

Why did we decide to replace BTC accounts with RUB accounts? When launching margin trading, we announced the possibility to open trading accounts in two currencies – USD and BTC. However, during technical testing, a feature of the MetaTrader 4 terminal was revealed, which does not allow quoting a bit less than 0.01 units (no matter what it is, bitcoin, dollars or other currency). Therefore, it was decided to replace BTC with RUB accounts.

Margin accounts in Russian rubles (RUB) have been already implemented and are ready to use.

In addition, depositing funds to trading accounts via RUB wallet of our exchange will not only SPEED UP the process of adding funds to your margin account, but also SAVE you money by eliminating conversion costs!

We invite everyone to try trading with leverage, opening a real margin account.

Good news for RippleBF debt token holders!

Not so long ago, Ripple developers added the possibility of deleting XRP accounts, thanks to which, after closing an account, users can return 15 XRP out of 20 XRP (5 coins are held in the form of a fee) that were charged when opening the account to prevent spam attacks.

A large number of Ripple accounts remained on BitFlip exchange. After deleting them in order to return funds to BitFlip users, we managed to close more than 1650 old BitFlip accounts.

The total amount of funds received is 25450,24 XRP. All this coins will be used to repay Ripple debt tokens at the next redemption stage, June 5th.

You can check information on closed accounts on the explorer, the "Transactions" tab of our Ripple wallet.

Added a new currency - UAH

Starting today, BITEXBOOK offers deposits and withdrawals in ukrainian currency (UAH). You can directly add UAH to your exchange account using VISA or MasterCard Bank cards.

At the moment, only deposit/withdrawal of funds in UAH is available, but tomorrow we will add 10 new trading pairs! You can start trading BTC, BCH, ETH, LTC, USDT, DASH, XRP, XMR, TRX and BTT directly without losing money on conversion.

The UAHBF/UAH trading pair will also be opened for holders of BF tokens.

Increased commission for withdrawal in the Ethereum network

Since mid-august, commissions in the Ethereum network began to grow rapidly, and by the end of it, they managed to reach another maximum. This event left its mark on all participants of the cryptocurrency community. Our exchange is no exception.

Today we have updated the fees for withdrawal in the Ethereum network:

Reducing your trading commission just got easier!

To improve the trading conditions, we have made some changes to the structure of the commission fees of the Maker-Taker model, thereby making it easier to reduce the trading commission on BITEXBOOK.

What's new in the Maker-Taker model?

- The base currency has been changed. Now the dollar (USD) is used to calculate the total trading volume, rather than Bitcoin (BTC).
- The value of the monthly trading volume ranges used to determine the amount of commissions has been reduced (see the table below).




As you can see, the range of trading volume required for each subsequent commission reduction has decreased by more than 100 times!

And we remind you that from October 10 until the end of the year, we have CANCELED COMMISSIONS on margin USD and RUB accounts. This is the best time to try your hand at trading!
