I have invested in scrypt.cc as well as two other scrypt cloud mining services. Here are my actual returns for the week ending 4/13/14:

Farm$hares - 9.15% return at current litecoin price of $10.3
Scrypt.cc - 6.9% return at current bitcoin price of $440
Scryptsmining.com - 4.7% return at current bitcoin price of $440

Farm$hares continues to be most profitable for me with an excellent 9.15% return for the week while scrypt.cc returned a decent 6.9%. Scryptsmining.com is in last place again this week. Farm$hares only mines litecoin while the other two services mine multiple scrypt coins.

Help me out here because I'm probably not seeing something:

From Farm$hares payouts:
2014-05-10 – Network difficulty 6983.51400 – 0.00590528 LTC/day / 1 Farm$hare (0.00072016 LTC/day / 1 Hw$hare)

I also see they are selling a 160x Farm$hares for $995 US

So
.00590528 LTC/day/Farm$share * 160 FarmShares * 7 days/week = 6.61391 LTC / week

@ $10.3 / LTC that is ~ $68   ===> ~ 6.8% for that week.

Prehaps the Farm$hares were cheaper when you bought them?   Also the Farm$hares can't be sold ... so I don't know how you factor that in.  However the scrypt.cc KHS are not always easy to sell.

Yes, I am using actual price I paid for my Farm$hares as well as scrypt.cc and scryptsmining.com shares. ltcgear.com also discounts prices 8% when you pay with bitcoin. Why would I want to sell them? Every couple of months they issue dividends to investors by issuing extra shares. But it is possible to sell Farm$hares, they have a form on the site which lets you transfer shares to another ltcgear.com user. Nice to see that scrypt.cc returned 7% for the week.

Thanks for the clarifications.

But scrypt.cc says they have only GPU
Is this possible to have an income like that with GPU only ?
ok, lets see:
1mh scrypt power profit on scrypt.cc is about 0,00426 btc/day
1mh GPU power - it is about 450W - 10,8 KW/day - in Russia it costs about 0,00283 btc/day (0,113$/KW)
so 0,00426 + 0,00283 = 0,00709 btc
and of couse scrypt.cc should have profit from this and they have upkeep costs - at least 10% of income I guess,
so we have about 0,008 btc/1mh/day
I check whatmine.com regulary and it is very rare to see that profit. And there is a big delay when mining new coins and to the moment they reach exchange - price can drop very much, difference can vary up and down and etc. So profit 0.006 is good, 0.007 - very good, 0.008 - excelent.
I doubt that scrypt.cc can reach this profit every day...

I think that your error is in power cost calculation. I think that it is possible that scrypt.cc pays much less then 0.003btc/day/mhS. It is not in Russia and it can buy power for special price for datacenters.)

russian price is lower, so we have 0,009 btc/day/1mh now...
looks like we have Ponzi or ASIC scrypt-only miners - both are not good Sad

from where is information about Brazil location? have you more information about scrypt.cc ?

Ponzi yes/no. All the information about the company and the electricity deal they have are in this thread somewhere. I haven't saved the information or links to it and I don 't plan on finding any. Too busy counting my profit  Cheesy

It's to say whether or not any of these sites are ponzis, but as a general rule it seems safe to assume that it is possible. In such cases one simply does not invest more than can afford to lose. So far they seem fine to me. No issues and they are open about how long it will take to break even, etc.

I'm just cautious by nature. I'm very happy with scrypt. I use them myself. But I'm not naive either. My advice is always to people with only a little coin to be super-cautious. I can afford to risk things here and there. Broadly speaking I'm very happy with the service  Smiley

Despite what your link shows, I got over 9% return this past week from my Farm$hares while my Scrypt.cc shares returned just under 7%, and my Farm$hares only mine litecoin. Will see what the next full week brings. Both are good investments but scrypt.cc hashing is set while Farm$hares increases per share every 1.5 months. There are also some newcomers online soon like Zeushash.com. Competition is good for investors, scryptsmining.com is also considering updating their Gridseed only farm to KnCMiner Titans.

Yah, very cool thread by suchmoon. I most certainly believe he did some impressive work on getting unbiased figures.

But I guess that's not what you're talking about so fine, let me ask you: do I need to believe?!

I've been screwed over quite a few times and I simply take things one day at a time. I've invested some BTC in scrypt.cc over time and withdrawn a fraction. New investments now go to other clouds (ponzi yes/no, applies to ALL of them), and on scrypt.cc I keep on reinvesting. Here today, gone tomorrow?! They're probably here tomorrow, and the next morrow. It's not likely they'll disappear, but yeah, it could happen as nothing is set in stone. But today they're here and profit rate is still one of the best. And I like their concept and approach quite a bit.

DarkAGeS, two more points: sell and buy volumes are much less then common khS volume you can find at status page and khS price decreased from 0.0015 btc/khS to 0.0007 btc/khS during last 2 months.

So scrypt.cc can sell some khS 2 months ago and buy it back now, the profit in this case is much more then mining profit.) They can decrease or increase price at any moment, because they have more khS and btc then all their users.

Yes, it is almost Ponzi, but still can be profitable for users too.)

Totally lame.  You don't know what scrypt.cc pays for power from a wiki page.   The admin that speaks English has stated they have a contract with the power company and get their power at a fixed price.   I believe the price quoted was around 5 US cents per KWH.

Just joined a few days ago and had some issues with receiving the deposit into my account but I heard that's been happening a bit. Apart from that, made my first trade to buy 650khs. The site is looking good and hope to see more features like auto reinvestment etc Overall it looks like this has good promise. I just hope the site closes down like markets.cx since i lost 5 ltc there

Occasionally deposits take a lot longer. Longest wait I had was 12 hours. Most of the time there's no issue though.

For auto reinvest, try this script I made: https://scrypt.cc/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4087
You need to leave a browser window logged in on the Trade page with that script running.

I just hope the site doesn't close down like markets.cx, but everyone is free to have different hopes  Grin

I have investments in three different cloud mining services and would like to share my actual returns for the week ending 5/20:

Farm$hares - 9.2% return at current litecoin price of $10.3
Scryptsmining.com - 3.9% return at current bitcoin price of $450
Scrypt.cc - 2.7% return at current bitcoin price of $450

Scryptsmining.com is selling off their Gridseed farm and replacing with KnCMiner Titans, delivery expected by July 15. There will be no dividends paid until then. As long as you can wait until then for mining to begin scryptsmining.com is offering a very good price per kH/sec for scrypt cloud mining: .10 bitcoin for 1 mH/sec or $0.045 per kH/sec at bitcoin price of $450. Each share costs .045 btc ($20.25) giving you 450 kH/sec mining power. Shares do not expire and you can invest as little as $20 for one share.

Another low cost option for scrypt cloud mining is to buy a Titan Starter 1 mH/sec share from CoiningSolutions.com. For $50 you can have 1 mH/sec mining from a hosted Titan scrypt miner with free hosting and 0% fees.

For comparison 1 mH/sec mining power from scrypt.cc would cost about $350, seven times the cost at CoiningSolutions.com.
