In market there are lots of coins are available the amount of coin may be 1500 but based on this very few coins are giving good profit and profit to their customers so I think btc is not weak in this purpose because its still holding its positions also altcoins are doing well.
I think the total amount of coins in the market is more than 1500 which you have listed. There are a lot of different coins but not listed prices on CMC. So do not invest in altcoin

We really have to wait right now, we are deep in a bear season. A lot of people thought that the end of spring/beginning of summer will end this trend but those were just thoughts (probably based on the last year).

We will not get another alt season before normie money starts to again fall in.

The Altcoins seem to be taking a chance to raise the price. But when something is going to happen in this direction, something is happening to Bitcoin. I hope it starts altcoin season now.

Unfortunately it's cold winter season now in all crypto - look for weak volumes of main exchanges:

Woow, interesting, maybe because holidays are starting and people are leaving their jobs for a while.

The growth and fall of altcoins is directly related to the price dynamics of bitcoin. As practice has shown, if bitcoin falls, then altcoins fall. But altcoins can fall even during the rapid growth of bitcoin...

Why? Altcoins are good and profitable but those having potential in profit especially on top 5 altcoins.
Aside from top of my priority is bitcoin I also invested on altcoin like ethereum and other altcoins that I know it is not going to shit.
Altcoin is good and profitable if you know how to manage them and searching which is good for long run.

OP is considering the recent situation, there's a season of price in bitcoin or cryptocurrency, now is the decreasing season all we need to do is wait until it is bouncing back but if you need your money urgent it is your decision.

even though many say the time is altcoin but they will not be able to speak a lot while bitcoin is not what changes. the majority of the altcoin following the traces of the bitcoin and certainly also made a bit of a barrier to movement of altcoin. If the bitcoin still weak then altcoin also does not have the power to go up.

some users save only their btc so the price don't grow in that and that's so wise

we see already btc that go really in past December 2017 so users just stand by their btc

altcoins grow by just day trading so that's most users want for investment that's why it good

Bad time for altcoins... but a few of them look like have bottomed out. DeepOnion is a prime example...
Maybe soon not everything will be corellated to the price of BTC

The market is cyclical. I think that it is possible to to do successful forcasts in some cases. However, this requires time and experience. I want to better learn market features..

Many on twitter say we are near the alt season again, but bitcoin is still looking weak, what do you guys think?

I do not know exactly what it has to do, but it seems like the FIFA World Cup is a bit affecting the enthusiasm of the community to transact. So maybe we should wait at least one or two more months. I'm sure at least a considerable increase will start from Bitcoin and Altcoin top10 first.

Who believes in them and invests, and this is in principle the most correct step now, then for them any season is marked by the release of new coins and the forecasting of promising tokens. Even despite the fact that now people are going to wait for their luck.

For now we can only wait for the moment, the current market conditions are bad. Maybe we should be patient waiting until Q4 and that's when the altcoin season will go back up.

I hope so, at least the famous altcoin has increased significantly. But if you look at the current situation of Bitcoin, chances are we have to wait a little longer, because after all it will still affect each other.

I think alt season is not coming yet, the alt coins are still weak and keep on falling, judge from the chart, we should be entering the bullish trend, but recently being pulled down because of the bad incident, I think we need to wait for the momentum again to see the all crypto to go up

Looks like Q2 this year is not as expected by many people. Not exactly sure what makes people hesitate, but it seems like the community is waiting for each other. But this is only halfway, and crypto is very capable of changing trends even when we have not realized it yet.

It is reasonable, because after all the market will not go down forever. It may take a momentum to start boosting the market. Maybe it has not started yet, but there is still a lot of optimism here, so to be a year of altcoin, I do not think it will need a miracle.
