What if

Bitcoin becomes the dominant currency, and cash is abandoned and then abolished, but bitcoin eventually is not an alternative but mandatory? You are assigned to the blockchain by law, or you are frozen out of the economy?

that's as far as I read, it'll never happen.

the recent movie 'In Time' with that Timberlake dude is quite reminiscent of what could happen in a bitcoin controlled world. you should see it, it's very good (IMHO) .

Somehow I did see that, think I was staying in a hotel and it was just on. Didn't even know it was Justin Timberlake because I am not hip, but I did like it very much also as a concept, analogous to the money system we have now I thought. Just more efficient.

and a metaphor for 'what happens when you run out of money' t'was cleverly written.
