What is the hashrate for one of those?

300khs but new firmware is being tested and has reached 500-600khs

Is it new firmware or is a new board which just has 2x as many chips on it?  I was under the impression that Gridseed was going to create a new board with more chips (thus reach higher hash numbers) and drop it into a typical ATX style case...Am I completely mistaken???

New firmware.

Wow!  I'm speechless...I bought the LA3M which is 10 of these....I can't wait for the new firmware to be released....uh I guess I should wait till I get these in my hot little hands before I get all crazy abou the new firmware, huh? Tongue

OOOOoooooOOOOO kinky.  Shocked Cool

See and some feared being an early adopter was foolish if the hash rate can double with new FW then I think a lot more people are going to start wanting them Smiley

Hi Worldly:

did you have to pay import duties on your order? They are asking me what I want them to invoice? Is this a way to get the duty down? (there may be something lost in translation....)

I don't know..I paid 3.44BTC (~$2750USD) so I presume when I get them I'd pay import duties?  I don't know the rules for having stuff sent from China to the US.  I havent' got the package yet so I don't know...this is the first time ever I've had something sent to me from outside the US...so its a whole new adventure.

I've had stuff sent to me from china and never had any issues or had to pay import tax. But i cannot tell you its always the same.

Reserved/order list.
Batch 2
Public Address: 14K3Gvub5xDvSJ6igFYvLj8HwJ3jc1r4bx
16/10

CSM00 - 10 - Paid
lajz99 - 2 - Paid
Eldoen - 4 - Paid

Hey demonmaestro,

Would you verify the address for Batch 2 orders?  I ask because I am paying for 4 units and checked the blockchain to verify the address for 16 units already paid, and there is only 1.15BTC that has gone to that address.

I want to send my payment to the correct place.   Wink

Crap. missed batch 1 and now ordered LA3M, and no funds for more ATM.

Asiabtc just said he may have hit USD quota though, so I'll put an order for 5 in very, very tentatively if that's OK.

For those asking about power.
here is the power supply that is used in the photo's and is a fairly standard industrial power supply 30 Amp will drive 5
in either mode. and be safe. if you are going to stay in scrypt mode exclusively .5 amps per unit can safely run more
than probably be secured without connection issues. (could in theory connect 60 although I always allow 10% on continuous rating)

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Regulated-Switching-Computer-Project/dp/B00D7CWSCG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1392141141&sr=8-1&keywords=power+supply+12v+30amp

This power supply will allow you to run 15 at full power.  (slightly more actually)

http://www.amazon.com/Meanwell-Switching-Power-Constant-Ledwholesalers/dp/B007K4XZPG/ref=pd_rhf_dp_s_cp_5_YDA1?ie=UTF8&refRID=0EKYF1P7NQRC16GCXEE6

Would be interesting to see the power draw on the new firmware to allow for calcultions on a power supply:) although the 30 amp one would
be a very safe range if staying on scrypt, I don't see it going above 12 watts per unit. at that you could drive 27 without issue.

BTW a fairly standard laptop power supply would drive one of these.
