Is there a reward for staking?  I've been watching the message for 2 weeks:
"Staking.
Your weight is XXXX.
Network weight is XXXXXXXXX.
Expected time to earn reward is 1 day"
 

Hi there, the staking estimation in the status bar is not very accurate.  We will work on that functionality in a future update to make sure it's more accurate.  There is absolutely a reward for staking, 250 XDN each time.

New DigitalNote v1.0.1.2 enables Masternode rewards, adds exclusive block reward amount & address verification (PoW + PoS), & more!  It's required to upgrade your wallet to v1.0.1.2 before May 20th when the changes kick in (https://github.com/DigitalNoteXDN/DigitalNote-2/releases/tag/v1.0.1.2).  Before May 20th Bittrex XDN wallets will be down temporarily for a few days as they upgrade their wallet.  In the meantime, use our Masternode guide to start one before everyone else does in anticipation of the update! Hi, we have already commented numerous times about HitBTC and also have information in our original post.  The ball is in their court.  Obviously we all know that HitBTC are not the most trusted of exchanges and have ripped off many of their users in the past.  They haven't been on the chain for over a year now, solely due to their own actions.  All they need to do is update their client, it's very simple, then convert their coins.  They have been in talks with us but what they say and what they do are two very different things, and they often have long lapses of no communication or replies back.  They also create false roadblocks that are unnecessary.

My old 2014 wallet files aren't the same. There's no wallet.dat, just a file consisting of my username and no extension, and a file named username.keys. how do I incorporate this into the current wallet?

The swap document linked above leads you through the process to swap you coins and details each step.  It's not as simple as opening your old wallet or importing your old key.  You must swap to the new network and the document provides instructions on how to do so (aka you will send your old coins to the bot using the old software, then you will receive your upgraded coins which you will then withdraw into a new wallet on the current network).
