So what happens if you go away for a bit, and don't post in 14 days? You have to start over?

I guess it's a way to keep the site active; but seems like it would generate a lot of 'fluff' posts.

I should post a lot so that i can be a jr member  Angry  Cheesy post post post and post!
No thats not True..! to become junior member you at-least have to wait for 14+14days=28days..!
you can get max 14 activity in 2weeks so lets say you'll get 14 activity points for your first 14posts or time spent on forum then you have to wait for 2 weeks i.e after 14days you'll get chance to accumulate 14more activity points by posting or spending time on forum

so you'll get a total of 28activity points within 2-3weeks of joining if you stay, and after 28days you'll get change to accumulate 14more activity points and after have 30+activity you'll be Jr. member Smiley

Nothing happens if you don't post , activity never goes down..! its not all that complicated as you think.. just spend some time in this forum you'll start understanding it after 2weeks.

This is what appears to have happened to me -- some of the posts I had a couple of months ago seem to have disappeared. I suppose it's only an issue if you have a limited number of posts early on.
