I’m a little surprised at a prediction this low, but anything is possible. I think that there will be too many buyers at some price higher like $6000 forcthe price to get to $2000. I just can’t see a scenario where there will be that many more sellers than buyers if the price goes much lower, but it’s hard to predict the mentality of inexperienced investors.

Who knows anything can be possible in the crypto field,I never thought that bitcoin even reach $1000 couple of years back but last year it alsmost traded at $20K so the growth was actually happened but not the prices is below $7K,but it doubt that it will fall below $6K again so $2000 is far from those value.

And do you have any proof that it will not go to $10K or $25K except that useless price chart of bitcoin.

I think they have now created such stiff dumplings to buy whales at a lower price. After the panic, many people can become rich. They buy it at a lower price and sell it again soon.
So we will see some pumps

No I am not against BTC but I have to look at reality!
McDonald’s has a higher market cap than BTC and their hamburgers and fries are overpriced and taste like shit!
Whales are getting out because they are connected to the futures.
In my opinion Coinbase and Tether worked together pumping and dumping and there is most probably a futures contract connection. This a criminal activity and the Dept of Justice are on to it.
This is an opinion but maybe the whales know this and that is why they are getting out: They will go into hiding with their money.
If this is true and news breaks about this crypto will go to hell!
Coinbase are helping the SEC but I some how think they are involved!
Maybe I am crazy but I smell a rat somewhere!

In addition, if ripple loses their court case in California this will open the door for anyone who lost money in a crypto that is a security to sue the coin: Think about it!

I definitely see bigger chance that Bitcoin dont go over $10000 this year then that it will reach $25000 by end of this year.  Both options have slim chances, but $25k is way slimmer.

Dont't worry even if we go down that low bitcoin will not stay there for long it will rebound strongly. this news websites only creates FUD and panic for the readers just wait and watch these news channels will start creating FOMO when the Bullrun starts. So don't take them seriously and follow your basics and keep calm be patient in this situation.

Although I think bitcoin's price can decrease more, I don't think $2000 price is a logical prediction. In my opinion, it is a big probability that it can reach $7000 or $8000 again in the following weeks.

It looks like someone paid CNBC to create that shit news. It can be considered as FUD news because it has been getting published when the markets are in red. I don't believe any speculation from the analyst and remember this.
When there an analyst said that bitcoin will be back to the bottom and otherwise it is going to the moon. Any other speculation can't be trusted because there is a chance it's being manipulated.

For it to even touch 2k, it needs to test 5k support. If it doesn't hold there then sure, 2k is next but to say its just going to hit full on 2k is dumb as hell.

i do not think so mate,because lately i heard an extremely bearish situation from my friends and they told me it's possible for Bitcoin to reach $1000.
of course it will only happen if Bitcoin breachs another support in around $5000.
right now we are seeing Bitcoin breachs $7000 and made a huge downward movement to around $6600,if everything is stay same.
Bitcoin will try to hit $6000 in a couple days later,even though we are seeing a quick comeback lately.it won't change the fact that we have nothing except HOPE.

CNN isn't a good source of information at all, and I don't say that just because of the election in 2016. They're notorious for making information up, and this is likely just another case of that. If they had something, and in this case someone, who actually had an inkling of what they're talking about I might give them a second thought, but they don't.

Just remember, though, Bitcoin is kind of the shovel to the altcoin gold rush. Bitcoin collapsing isn't good for anyone, but tokens based off of ETH will likely sail better than anything else which doesn't have a parent system to help it along.

It's like this for anything involving the media. They have 0 trustworthiness when it comes to anything that actually requires a little bit of speculation and intelligence, since it's hard to find someone who goes into media production with brains anyways. This comes doubly so when it comes to anything related to investing or making money; if they are not some kind of dedicated business network that does not have the tip-top tier, or at least the very closest thing to it that they can get their hands on, then they have a severe lack of credibility when it comes to making ANYONE money, let alone in something as crazy as crypto.
