Is bitcoin lead cryptocurrency market forever?

I don't think that will happen forever but I do believe that most of the Altcoins were created to solve one of two flaws with Bitcoin. So although, Bitcoin is the major coin right now few altcoins may rise to match its price and demand. However, this may not happen forever.

Bitcoin is and will always take the lead. It is the first, the Alpha Coin and the generic word for cryptocurrency. There will be challengers to the throne, but like before, are destined to fail.

Of course bitcoin leaf the crypto currency market but we cannot determine if it is forever because there is no forever as time goes by our technology would still be enhanced and more currency or other things can be created with the technology. I think this is impossible. After all, its speed is an obstacle. I think it may lead the cryptocurrency market for a decade. Ten years later, there should be coins beyond it.

Popularity fades. When people become too aware of crypto, other alts would gain popularity as well and at that point, a coin's use would determine where it'll be in the crypto heirarchy. And let's face it, there are a lot of alts that have better features than btc. Though yeah for now btc's popularity and huge following would be enough to make it the leading coin for a couple of more years
