we are getting ahead of ourselves with valuations and market caps. Let the client roll, let the people learn about this and the market will determine cap.


There cant be and there isnt any cartel as even if people wanted this, it is not realistic.

XCP should start trading on exchanges and from there the market will determine value.

I burned a few BTC because of the potential but I also dont think that it is a $100M cap just yet for a software in an alpha stage. patience is virtue.

Mastercoin has nothing but some ideas.It's marketcap is about $70M-$80M for a long time.

i will say it again: market value is often different from IPO value (which has a fixed price) because the market value takes into account future growth potential.

supply and demand will do their work - its a free market.

the good news is that XCP distribution isn’t monopolized (compared to all the other "bitcoin 2.0" currencies)

Yes, XCP integrates a distributed exchange. So, if you want to buy or sell directly on the blockchain, just install qt & counterpartyd and try for yourself.

And don't come whining about a manipulated market. Distribution is fair, there is no cartel (despite the meaningless efforts of some) it's only the market's rule and as soon as we see buy and sel orders hitting the blockchain, we'll have a valuation for XCP.

I am myself in the process of re downloading the complete blockchain in order to test the DEX

Do I believe XCP is worth .01 or even higher?  Hell yes I do, which is why I am not selling any of my stash for the time being.

The reason there aren't buyers fighting to buy XCP at .01 BTC is because the burn period ended a mere 24 hours ago and went on for over a month.  Everyone who wanted to invest in XCP already did.  Your potential market is literally people who just heard about XCP in the last 24 hours. 

If you want 10x+ back on your investment, wait for XCP to prove it's functionality and word to spread.  If you absolutely need to get back your BTC now, settle for less.
