Some airdrops require personal info from their users like government approved ID proof, a selfie with it, contact number, email, address etc. Does this information really required? How to know if somebody is scamming you for asking this kind of information?
Now market is trend down and are you think about future about Airdrops? I do not think it will have much value, and you say you have to put a lot of information to get it, I suppose the price is too high

I would be very cautious at which ICO airdrops you participate in that request personal information.
Although I see the reason behind it. Just make sure you investigate the project and team first.
And if the airdrop comes to a couple bucks... Jusg forget it. Not worth it

profit and loss is common in business, it will be very easy to know, so also in airdrop, when there is too much demand from the company, we just skip it, we take the limited ability we wrote first, then if we are already senior and have a lot of knowledge about airdrop we take most of the project, that my suggestion maybe senior colleagues have input also let us as beginner to increase our knowledge

Dont join airdrops whom requiring KYC to be able to receive their coin. Dont ever risk your personal information for some shitty coin out there. I think that airdrop is a scam who just want to gather many information to sell in black market. So stay away to that kind of airdrops.

Such information should not be claimed when registering in airdrops. If you are faced with this situation, you should be alert. It is better not to contact such projects, as they can be a product of fraud. Beware of such requests.

there are very interesting projects that can provide such information, but we must be sure that it's worth it. some projects make the collection of information through one-sided services -Dfiniti one of such projects

Most airdrops only require your email, phone number or require you to use certain software to forward certain ads. If some airdrops require you to provide privacy such as an ID card or certain account passwords, then these airdrops must be false!

kyc confirmation or sending id copy is very suspicious for airdrops. they made a token with costless but you give them potential personal unique informations. dont trust them.

I do not rule out bad cases that may occur. Even if it's a real bounty campaign, if the project requires KYC, I'll skip the campaign. I have a lot of annoying bugs, I get a lot of requests through the mailbox and the phone. It seems like a scam has spread my information. Be more careful with KYC

Yes, not just ICO though I would be very careful with anything that wants your personal information. I was more free giving it out in the past but now I see more spam coming to my emails and my Telegram, I regret giving out even my username in the past just for whitelisting. I cannot tell exactly which ICOs it was that led to my spam, but I have my suspicions. Of course,,, now that everything will be regulated, they do need KYC. So just make sure you are confident in the team and their project in being legitimate first. A few dollars is definitely not worth it.

If you have fund over the 1000 USD on coinbase wallet means it will ask you to verify the documents and self photo of yours to make the transaction to any wallet mate. Then you need to verify the documents for most of the airdrops. Still I am not sure what is the reason for sharing the kyc details mate.

before I apologize, only fools who want to submit about our personal information, because it can be in use by people - people who are not responsible for a gain. so essentially never submit any information they ask. it's true in the world of crypto is full of risks, but we do not take that risk especially in the air droplets.

I dont know whats the connections of the things you are saying on here about coinbase, where its just normal for them to ask KYC details when you do already hit up a particular threshold which isnt really surprising and its normal for them to ask because once you do register you would able to agree to their ToS. If you do have funds then its normal for you to comply but its your choice but since we do talk about airdrops on here i dont see why an individual would need up to pass information just to get a small amount of tokens which they dont even have a sure value.

Yep, this is better way of avoiding your identities to be stolen by these scheme makers. Airdrops are free but why do they have to ask for your identity? It's fine if you are joining and investing their ICO but if it is airdrop, there's no need to do so. Giving your identity and information to these projects that held airdrops voluntarily shouldn't be done. Don't be too attached with airdrop.

Stay away from those airdrops need your personal information. They want to sell your information for quick money. Most of the airdrops are giving away very small amount of their coin/token on airdrop. The ones offering a lot of coin they are worthless.

If there is an airdrop that needs to provide the information you said, then this airdrop must be deceptive. They may steal your private information as a way to make money!
