You can google it to search and to know if that site you are entering is legit or not, you will know from there if you are taking a risk but with benefit or without benefit if you win or lose.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

You have good answers, so I would just add:
- Never login to a site with an account used in another platform or a personal email.
- If on a site ask you for making a deposit to be allowed to withdraw, probably this is a scam.

And of course, the other basics: make a research first.

Honestly the best way to spot a scam is to look for reviews about the site that you are trying to gamble in, and not just any reviews because some sites could be paid for fake reviews, you should only trust reviews made by people on social platforms like Reddit twitter and Facebook and probably the best one is this forum, because if a gambling site is using bitcoin or their own cryptocurrency, they would probably have a topic in here or at least posts about the site from other people.

The issue with those rating sites is that they might be paid, just like ICO sites do paid reviews. You should look for user reviews from multiple sources to be sure. Also in this forum there is plenty of information regarding scams. They might be harder to find but it's better to spend some time reading instead of losing your money.
It does not have to be a rating site, there are forum like this that even when you search on Google, you will be directed to, so as to be able to get other people's opinion about a place to gamble or not to gamble. One way or the other, there must have been those who would have shared their experience in a way after being scammed so that others will know it is a pure red flag.

It is better to always stay safe than sorry and I do not feel it is a hard thing to find unless you just want to go with a site that others are not paying attention to which obviously would add no value additional to your gambling anyway.

Some practices you can do:

a) Do self research and used common sense.

b) Poor layouts (can't be a scam but surely it's not the gambling site you want to take your money).

c) Asked others.

d) Stick with those gambling sites who already established a name. Not an assurance that you are literally safe but somehow it will minimize the risks of being scammed by choosing random sites.

Actually there are lots that will you will think automatically. Since we will put money on a gambling site, it's really mandatory to check any sides of the internet to find if that certain site can somehow be put on trustworthy list.

How do you consider the scam attempt with the honesty mate. That is the not at all workable thing bro. If you want to invest on the gambling site you can review about the site on the review site and then check that whether they have involved in the scam sites bro.
If they are paid review on the site you can check badbitcoin.org website here you see the legit information about the true and fake site.

I think gambling sites are very visible from some of the existing reviews, as gambling sites can not afford to buy reviews, and in real live, gambling sites will get good reviews if they are proven to be honest and pay

In my point of view, if I do not want to be scammed then I would just go to the site where many people are joining and betting than those with less. Most often, scam sites are those with high promising revenue and stakes that looks like impossible to have in an easy way.

Better to play in a well known gambling sites than to take risk into new gambling site. Most probably you can easily notice it if you lose too much money on that. Reviews can be scripted so most probably don’t take this as your basis to play gambling on that site.

Just search in Google before playing with your money at any gambling site. All the legit site have a lot of review for their trustiness. And you can also learn about the scam site just by search in Google.
Lol you do realise if a site is a brand new google won't help you at all as most gambling sites first have a ann thread on this forum as far as i have noticed is to ask the site to sign a message of the address where sites funds are stored. This won't be too helpful but way better than pre judgement of sites

You could just simply spot it if there are no players on their site, and their site is a shit one which looks like it was made by a child, a lot of misspelled words. The most effective way to know is to try it, use their free satoshis and made some profits with it and try to withdraw it, if you didn't receive any and it just says "pending withdrawal" then it is obviously a scam.

I have few points to present here that may help you to avoid to getting scammed.

* if you are interesting to invest in an ICO, always triple check, make sure that the team has the ability to finish the project, make sure that the organizers are known and for good, and never fall for scams that promises you that you will get X more tokens if you invest by X date, it's usually only to gain hype and it is never a good choice.

* Scam usually sound much better then the true, if you feel like someone is trying to convince you to invest, then there is something skecthy and you should stay away.

There are plenty of sites who can be trusted when it comes to gambling, whether casino or some betting games. If you had enough research and knowledge about those sites, then you wont be easily fooled by those cheap tricks applied by fake sites. You should always do your research, find references and other feedbacks by that site you want risk money with.

First of, I don't think that reputable rating/review sites can be paid to show fake ratings, because if caught doing so they would lost their audience immediately. Speaking about the red flags, if site is a very new one and there are no reviews about it yet, that's the red flag number one for me. I never deposit on such sites whatever deposit bonuses they promise.

Overall I suggest to trust the sites with good reviews and operating for a relatively long time. On those sites you can deposit without worries, they won't scam you. But of course you should never deposit more than you can afford to lose because even on a legit provably fair site you can lose money to gambling.

There is no specific ways to spot them just really research the team, mangagers, devs, and etc. You can research for months and still get screwed you just have to find someone who has ran campaigns before!!!

You can easily spot a scam using your logical mind. If you smell something suspicious and your mind tells you that it is not the right website for you, then you can go away from it. Usually, scammers give you false hopes like for example, you can win 1 Bitcoin, you can win more than you lose. And usually, people fall for it. Added to that statement, scammers usually have no reputations. They can just start a threat using a Newbie account.

I'm usually find their community first before try to deposit my real bits. At least it can minimalize the scam attempt, right ?

I can trust Primedice for example, because I see a lot of feedback for them but I dislike to play in 999dice although they have exist until now ( shady operation backhand )
