i managed to run on a server with ubuntu 16 .
it's more simple on ubuntu 18 

very slow to sync. it took 2 hours to sync till block 6k. 1 block at second.

That's a very long time considering the blockchain is less than a week old, hopefully the dev can find a fix for this on future releases.

Yes, if the height says 0 that means it is not syncing at all you might need to add some nodes to your conf file or it could be something else.

There's no premine if you read the OP, but there's a 10% DEV fee when you mine it which I think is way too much.
