Normally cryptocurrencies price should not be correlated to each other but most of the time, it just follows the bitcoin price, and I agree with you if BTC will drop under $6000, ethereum price will drop under $400 unfortunately.

We can’t say that the market value of any other crypto coin is dependent on the market value of bitcoin completely but there is some effect of the market value of the bitcoin on rest all other crypto coins and the reason behind it is that bitcoin is the backbone of this entire crypto market. ETH has a sting potential to grow but for now, things are not that much good and that holding of ETH is the best thing to deal with such kind of situation.

Obviously, there won't be any better chance than for one to see it hit so as to buy more for the future. It might hit $400 and go lower but at those points, it is always the best to make use of the chance to stash up more for the future. I just wonder when ethereum was originally blow $400 levels, people got afraid to touch it for holding purposes but now when it is falling down from $1000 levels, finding below $400s are good to buy and hold. Traders sentiments are related to historic price levels and not exact due to how high or how low currently.

ETH is in a bear trend as well as other altcoins, so the possibility of seeing it go lower than it is right now is very much there and until we possible change into an uptrend, before we can even state the chances reducing, but for now, we just keep our fingers crossed.

There was a time when bitcoin and altcoin were considered reciprocal of each other. When one moves up there must be downfall for other. But now, they are totally independent in that regard. But you can’t consider them independent in every regard. Now, they are just lined up at back of bitcoin. Wherever bitcoin goes, they are following it. Up or down, they are making good moves now.

I think yes, because the price is going down and down. The highest price of Ethereum was more than $800 but now it is less than $500. It is quite possible that it fall to $400 in this month or the next. Many people now are investing in low price coins because they have more potential than big coins and they can make huge profits in the future when the price grows.
