Overpriced at .5 BTC given difficulty now in force. At .2BTC, you should be profitable FWIW. May be hard to find one that cheap though.
However, if you can get them for the right price, grab a few. I really like my block erupter cubes, don't listen to the FUD they are incredibly trouble free IF you follow the instructions. In particular, asic miner ships new units with the heat sinks only loosely attached to the board. On any unit, new or old, I would definitely open it up and pull out each board to make sure the heat sinks are tightened down... if loose they will be worthless.
One downside if you need to run a getwork proxy on a server on your lan .. but that is pretty trivial.
My block eruptors have been running since December non-stop, trouble free ... very quiet, take up no space, never die. While others (like the trash BFL 60 SC's) overheat, are noisy, require USB cables, etc. ... the ASIC miner cubes are standalone (except for the network server running stratum getwork proxy), quiet, cool, and nonstop. For the right price, great!
