Considering that you accept fiat, do I need any documents to be able to make a donation? And is there any grounds for donation being rejected?

I'm not sure, what this project does. Is it like a database with charities so it would be easier to donate money?
Not *just* database. Yes, it helps you to make a choice of charity fund if you want to. But theres also a big selling point of having a bunch of pre-existing third-party loyalty programs attached to the platform.

Soft cap - $6 mln, it's not so much. I hope you'll be raised this funds in a couple of days. What will be with unsold tokens?
They'll be burned. By the way, team's tokens will be frozen (50%  for 6 months and another 50% for 12 months).
And what about bounty tokens? will they be frozen? and will there be a bounty campaign?
Also, WP says that only team's tokens will be frozen
That's not great... participants of bounty program will drop the price of token on the exchanges as soon as they get their tokens

oh wait, bounty tokens will be locked for a period of 1 month to prevent devaluation upon exchange listing, as it says in the bounty thread. so, there's no ground for worrying then

Good news. As I see, bounty campaign is already announced so I'll gladly take part.

Where did you get that from? I'm looking everywhere in this thread and cant fnd anything.

So, the whole donation tracking thing... Can I do it only on the website or is there going to be an app or something?

There will be a platform that allows benefactors to make direct pinpoint donations.  If desired, the donor can leave funds in the Humanpool, and the system will allocate the money automatically to projects with the highest rating from the platform’s community.

Is 50% of donation in tokens a fixed value? At what point do I get it?

Unfortunately, charities are not always what they seem. There're many scandals on the ground that charity funds use the funds not the way they should do.  I personally hope that the transparency problem will be solved.

i'm forced to agree with you. that's the reason many good-will people are now reluctant to contribute anymore.

Its really sad to see companies exploiting someone who wants to help others. Someone with a pure heart and good intentions.

And another thing: if I want to make an anonymous donation, could it cause any problems with me receiving my share of tokens?

Hello. Donation can be made anonymous as well as public.

I think this is a great concept. We couldn't have enough of projects that focuses on charity and aid. Giving help to a lot of individuals, nations and countries will surely assist them to have their needs met and have projects realized to improve their standard of living. Blockchain technology will make it more efficient and transparent. Good luck to you guys!

But for real though, how do you plan to reconcile the legal differences? The crypto regulation is up in the air and changing every day, while the charity-related laws have been rock solid for a while. And they include the fact that they have to report all the funds that flow through them to the specific regulating body. So its really hard for me to imagine, how these two fields can cooperate.

Platform users can download receipts via the interface to get valid documents confirming the transfer of funds to charity in order to file tax deductions, depending on the tax jurisdiction of the donor.

Suppose, I represent a charity. How do I get my fund registered in the system? What would I need to do that?

Anyone knows if the devs are going to limit themselves to a particular number of charities for each category or if they'll just work with any fund that wants to partner up with them?

There is no information about it yet. Keep in touch  Smiley

Asking for a friend.

Hello. Every participant will have a private account on our platform, where he can see all his donations. Both the web and mobile interface of the Humancoin platform will be equipped with online status tracking of all the projects currently accepting donations, as well displaying the user's own transactions so that he can track them.

If you represent a charity, you have to pass a verification before participating.

Is 50% of donation in tokens a fixed value? At what point do I get it?

Hello there!  Proportional to their donations, benefactors receive back 50% of the value of their donation in tokens, according to the exchange-weighted price of the token (in other words, benefactors “buy” or “mine” tokens at the rate of 2x to the price listed on the exchange). You also can receive discounts on exchange fees.
