Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the
subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Some suspicious facts about Humancoin =========================
1) It holds back 330,000 USD. Why?
Humancoin will refund 95% of its raised funds... let's calculate 6.600.000 mln * 5% equals 330,000 USD.. Interesting.. Humancoin only refunds contributors with a sum of investment (eth 20+) that could be legally enforced (at least theoretically). Surely nobody will sue the Humancoin CEO (Giles Gailer) for 200 usd. This is supposedly clever. But Giles Gailer, you are hopefully aware that this is criminal.
I understood they will refund 100% as in below information: 2) Follow receipt of that information and by 15th December, all valid 20eth+ worth contributions are to be refunded. It will take this time to confirm all details as it refers to 95% of all the contributions raised.
3) Other valid contributions are to be refunded in the period of 15-30th of December You can add in your list all their lies during the ICO: - Pretending some private deals - Pretending some negotiations with Skyteam (!) So thanks to these private deals 6M USD was reached at the deadline, what a coincidence - The fact that Humancoin does not try to answer to any accusation here Absolutely feel sad for people that were scammed. This "project" had scam written all over it from the first time I visited the thread.

This platform is pretty cool at all, because it revolutionize the charity program globally, through this, people are now already aware if their money will reach the recipient or if their money will be spent wisely. This idea sounds like a good one since they use blockchain technology to make things much easier than before and now people are now able to track their donations easily and fast.

Well it must be enough for these scammers to enjoy living off the misery of other people. That is one bad side of the internet. It leverages negative tendencies of bad people because they don't have their victims right in front of their eyes. Stealing your physical wallet with 50 bucks right from your pockets feels worse than stealing your digital wallet with 50k bucks in btc. It just sucks so hard.

I think these scammers will sell the KYC details of these gullible investors to criminals so further fraud can take place.

Seems fairly obvious the scammers behind the "Humancoin" scam purchased an old Bitcointalk account and used that to make the opening post. The scammer username GBGglenn has not logged in since December 2018.
The mouthpiece user account also has not logged in since 20th January 2019

I think many or at least some of the scammers know how to hide successfully. The business with KYC data mentioned here is just another huge disappointment for everyone who wants this industry to grow and have a great reputation.

Quite sad they are mass-producing scams.... look at Dean Nolan and his betking scam then compare it to Humancoin and their scam. Then compare it to Minexcoin and Rock Trading - all are scammers that scam at varying levels but all are nonetheless scammers. They use all techniques to lure people in then either selective scam, ICO scam or other scam but leave the end investor out of pocket and in nearly all cases they send their passport, ID, licence, bills and bank details to these scammers. Very sad.
