I totally agree with you, we need to adjust our trading strategies according to the market, and this is the best strategy to stay without burning out into the market.  We need to control our emotion and favoritism to any coins.  There are good alts that I think had bottomed out as they are showing resilience to go down further, but who knows, and if this resilience break, it can crash further down.

Whenever Bitcoin price drops altcoins drop harder. As long as there are mostly being traded with BTC that's gonna be the case. You can see that coins such as Binance Coin usually move against the market since a lot of coins are being traded with BNB.

This is certainly sad, when the expectation of all users that july soon improves but the market seems stagnant, I hope the market soon recovery so as to make investors eager to buy and invest more.

the altcoin is just followed where bitcoin moves and they keep adjusting their price with bitcoin price. but soon, after bitcoin giving a good signal to increase, then the altcoin will increase higher too. actually, this is a good time for us to keep buying another amount of every altcoin that we have because we can get a cheaper price and we have a chance to make a big profit later. so you need to use this chance to make another buyback so you can make another profit in the next days
