HOW MANY PEOPLE ACTUALLY OWN CRYPTOCURRENCY?

[emmablue]

I recently came across this report, I find it very interesting:Among the countries in this survey, only 7% of people own cryptocurrency (11% in Japan, 9% in the US, 6% in Germany, and 3% in China). 4% say they have the intention to buy cryptocurrency.

I am curious to see if there is any report out there on the demographic of the crypto owners?

There is absoultely no way it is 9 percent of people in the United States,  It's closer to one percent of total population.

24-hour rapid survey across over 29,000 internet-connected people in 8 of the largest cryptocurrency markets (US, UK, Germany, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, China and India)

Not 9% of the people, but 9% of the internet-connected people.
You can automatically eliminate most of the grandpas and grandmas

Shout it out there bro!

If by 'own' you mean being in sole control of private keys, I would expect the number to be very very low.

Not the whole population in the US, only 29,000 internet-connected people who answered survey.

Guys, what are we talking about. We certainly can not know the number. 29000 is an approximate figure. Not everyone participated in the survey.
