A lot of people are reaching a point where they are considering selling their coins. I would like to know, what your "panic" sell

point is?

I bought most of my coins at below $1000, so I am not worried at all about the drop in the price. I will never walk away from

Bitcoin losing any money, because I sold some bitcoins when the price reached $19,000 last year and made back all the

money that I invested. Some people bought at $19,000 last year, and I think many of them sold already. Do you have a point,

where you will push the "panic" button?

I doubt that it will go down much further, but if it does... where would you start selling your coins?

Wow, to think I would even half to think about this kind of shakes me up to be honest.

But realistically, I think Im in this game for the very long run and cant see myself ever selling my coins unless absolutely necessary, such as there was a family emergency or something of that nature.

It is about how many Bitcoin you have ??

I'm from Malaysia, and I brought 8000 BTC when many years ago(and glad that I still have found back).I'm looking for cash out all the btc I have own now,it is about 100 million usd fund, but I don't think my country market have support that huge of volume,I do my research found that exchanges in Malaysia are really small, big exchanges like only bitfinex and coinbase can support that much of volume, but it can't use their service in Malaysia, and I'm not US citizen.I don't know what to do now.I'm really frustrated knowing I own that much of money but I can't cash out due to my country is not popular with this coin, any suggestion for me? Whoever can help me solve my problem I promise to gave him 50 btc after I manage to cash out.A man will keep his word.

what country that can support 100 mil usd withdrawal? I'm actually have thinking about open an US bank account, but I'm not sure whether I can withdrawal that much of fund from exchanges to my bank account or not.I actually don't mind paying tax fees to US or Malaysia gov whatever,I just want to have a cash out plan.

A really really bad move in an investing standpoint, but I pretty much don't have a sort of "panic price". If bitcoin were to crash down, heck. I'm going down with it. I've spent 2 years in the cryptocurrency space learning as much as possible, and I'm not going to stop being interested even the prices crash down to single digits. As long as there are still crypto projects being developed at least.

kprawn.. also start another topic pretty much the same as this. same options. but with this as the question

A lot of people are reaching a point where they are considering BUYING more coins. I would like to know, what your "yay discount" buy
point is?

by this i mean. how much lower must it go before your tempted to buy (dont select the obvious lowest price. but choose the highest price you consider a 'discount' worth buying

I doubt that it will go down much further, but if it does... where would you start buying more coins?

then compare the answers

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

I try to calm down if the price of my coins goes down. If the coins I got down I would have sold the coins directly for fear of further price decline.

Some prices give me panic, and some prices gives me gladdy. About $1000+ eth price gives me pleasure and $10000 btc price also gives me pleasure.

Only the new traders will get panic from the price reduction and fluctuation. Not a experience traders.Experience traders will keep their bitcoin and wait for the maximum price raise.I won't sell due to panic, because I had one year of trading experience.I had huge trust in bitcoin price.

Exactly.  The savvy ones will be buying from the weak hands, not jumping off the cliff with them.

There is absolutely nothing related to price swings that would cause me to sell.  It would either take a serious network security breach, or Bitcoin losing its way and abandoning the fundamental underlying principles (permissionless, open-source, transparent, neutral, etc) which I signed up for, that would cause me to consider selling.

Panic selling is only done by newbies with no trading experience. Any serious investor has some sort of a plan, they make stop-loss limits to cut their losses at certain level and have some selling strategy.
Now, I'm not a trader, but I'm never going to sell because I'm afraid of losing more, because this is just a huge risk, it's way more likely that Bitcoin will eventually recover than that it will crash and stay down forever. I also don't sell to buy back later at lower price, because it's incredibly hard to time it, and any point can be the bottom, so selling is always a risk, and with Bitcoin's tendency to grow, selling is a bigger risk than buying.

I agree that bitcoin will hardly go further down. He simply will not allow large cash bags, and if he does, then there is no point in selling - it's better to leave it for the future.

I voted below 1000$, but I really I don't know if I wait for the 1000$ to cash out or not. First, I don't think that bitcoin will decrease too much and touch the 1000$ again, I don't think that investors can let bitcoin reach this level, because they will buy a lot of it when it decrease to 5000$ as I think, second I believe that the limit of this decrease is around 5k$ no more decrease of price, third, If it will be true and bitcoin decrease to 1000$ I think cash out there it will be good.

I hope I don't see the price that will make me panic so much to the extend of rushing to sell off. I know we all need to keep our emotions and patience on a good level and I can proudly say that i have learned to be patient and to keep away from panic. Though, asides be patient enough, an investors should also be on alert.  I guess and hope it won't be possible but I will only sell off when the price goes below $1000.

I invested in Bitcoin when its price was a little over $ 1000. Therefore, I will sell Bitcoin only if it falls below this mark, so as not to go into negative.

If you think you will likely panic, better to panic now to reduce your loss.
Sell now or be patient and wait a long time. If you choose a price to sell your coins after a loss, most probably you will sell your coins at that price as the market is volatile.
