Blockchain is decentralize network of virtual money so i can say that it is a never ending process and with this many other good inventions will come to the world like airline tickets will be possible through your home at the virtual transaction, and It is never ending process and it will be rise if the world show a positive behavior then it's value will be rise.

When all miners are no longer mined, the blockchain will stagnate, and if the miners return to work, it will run again, so to be precise, as long as there is another miner at work, the blockchain is virtually never have the end.

I think blockchain is a never-ending process and it will continue to improve as long as we keep adapting it. Smiley

the blockchain will never end because it is very suitable for data, storage, and transactions that are very comlit, what's more to its sophistication and to its extraordinary progress so it is suitable for storing coins

Theoretically, it is as you say. But it doesn't mean that can  practically be done. Like everything, we  may say that it has a limit which is unreachable.

I do not understand well what you mean by STOP. if you mean to quitting the development of blockchain platform I will say no. when you study very well you will realize blockchain developer focus on development of new blockchain with consensus algorithm that improves the existing blockchain. Also, many new blockchain is developed to suit a particular or group of industry. E.g Smilo is focusing on developing hybrid blockchain that allows the creation of both public and private smart contract. a private blockchain will help industry like a medical sector that wants to maintain anonymities with patient medical history.

Blockchain is a technology that has been developed for years. And you think she can just disappear? That's not likely to happen. Now many organizations are interested in it and I think that the blockchain will follow the path of development.

Depends on the mining. If now every miner stops their mining then there will be no new blocks in the chain. But meshes are getting bigger and complicated so is the power of mining equipments.

Yes this is true, without miners transaction verification stops, meaning blockchain stops. But, still existing. Now for the process to continue, developers need to create a new code to do the transaction verification.

BIG WINNER!

If you're referring to the bitcoin blockchain, yes, it's possible for it to be stopped if a global crackdown on miners takes place and seize all the mining equipment, further preventing the addition of new blocks on the chain. Given the 'decentralized' nature of bitcoin, and its miners being situated into different parts of the world, it would be hard to search all of these and seize it all, so that one possibility is ruled out. Another event that could possibly stop bitcoin's blockchain is a nuclear warfare wherein a huge percentage of the world is completely disintegrated and the remaining are left dying in nuclear waste. We are very far from that happening but it still is a possibility you cannot rule out to happen in the distant future, otherwise the process of adding blocks in the chain is ad infinitum.
Even if all asics disappeared tomorrow, people could simply go back to cpu/gpu mining. Granted, that diff adjust would be painful, but the network would survive.

My actual question is: What happens after the last bitcoin gets mined?. Sure the year 2140 is so far away we may not even see it, but, I'd like to know regardless.

It would seem that it is impossible to stop this at this point unless the whole internet in the whole world is cut off or all the miners stop mining. That's just how Blockchain works. As the advancement of technology takes place, it is more likely that it would be replaced by something more powerful in the future.

I think blockchain will never end if we talk in the context of today's technological capabilities. data will continue to be processed endlessly, this is one of the advantages of blockchain technology, unlimited freedom. but if you want a little utopian, it doesn't rule out the possibility in the future, maybe when we are dead, there will be more crazy technology like today

Blockchain is definitely not something to be limited to just crypto money, it will not be surprising to see it in different technologies very soon.

blockchain is a decentralized and secured technology for transaction or transfer currency all over the world. But is it possible to stop one day or its forever?
Blockchain is a technology that has no limit as it has a lot of good features such as security, transparency, traceability, keeping data in a way that can't be altered and they are visible to public etc. With this features and lot more which I believe every nation need to improve the security and backed their economy.
Blockchain will keep improving by adding more features and be more useful forever.

If miners will stop to mine then there will be a day for bitcoin or cryptocurrencies to stop or has an end in the future. It also depends on us or who all uses bitcoins. If there is some improvement on the process for bitcoin then for sure it will continue to process. Hopefully this year we can see some improvements especially for the price of bitcoin.
