It has a really effects if you listen to those making FUD news made by big politicians and those whale trying to manipulate the market cap price. I think it would happen the same way you just described. Media can affect the behaviour of a crowd, at least one that is not well informed. As long as momentum gets generated by news, it affects the masses and a lot of people end up simonizing their behaviour. In fact, that is exactly why trading works. Traders read signs, and act accordingly making the market move in one direction. Traders don't just use technical analysis, they actually use fundamental analysis as well, and that is news related. Of course that good traders now how to filter the news, and bad traders don't.

I dont agree that its stupidity that is changing the markets its more about
inexperience and how the inexperienced react to news both in the mainstream
media, crypto media and forums. They suffer from FUD and FOMO which affects
the markets.

whether they have experience or not and with whatever amount they want

Of course it can, look at what happened in December last year   thanks to FOMO, tons of dumb money  began to pump the market to new highs which eventually led to a major crash/correction. I don't doubt that the majority of newcomers let their emotions play a big role when they started pouring money into the cryptosphere, but I'm pretty sure there was a big % of people who simply let their stupidity override their rational thinking, I'm talking about those who thought they were about to get rich with cryptos in no time...so yes, stupidity can have an impact on the cryptocurrency market.

well I do not understand what you mean by human stupidity but am thinking of maybe panic selling. Sometimes the market makes people sell out of fear thereby contributing to dumping and in the long run affect prices of BTC and ETH  in the market.Panic selling is not good because weaker hands  make stronger hands rich

Emotions, herds mentality, mass hysteria, of course markets are driven by all these things including greed and fear. Crypto-markets are probably the markets which are the most affected by stupidity (as emotions/ irrational). Everyone should definitely study mass psychology and how it affect markets/politics.
