Obviously yes bro. There are many shit world news channel portraying the bitcoin as shit or something mate. Actually we should understand that bitcoin is very much useful thing for the whole world. If any government accepts the bitcoin we can understand they are in real favour their countrymen else they are corrupted one mate. Kindly ignore the fake news and be part of the bitcoin bump and get benefited bro.

With our unreliable system of journalism these days and how things have been with the internet age, spreading false news have become the order of the day which sometimes I believed could even be paid ones just to generate some fear in the market or FOMO as the case may be. The go hand in hand with price manipulation anyway and all those can be categorized as human greed and stupidity which I totally agree with the OP.

Yes, definitely human stupidity will market movements but not like we have not started seeing fake news from the media all in the name to raise FUD, or some sort of manipulations in the market just to send some wrong signals, so if we are to look at that simply, all those are human stupidity which we have known to hugely affect the movement of the market in a way.

It is a decentralized market and it is obviously to expect that things like this are bound to happen and there is really nothing much we can get to do about it.

From the reactions of the market specially when big news is been released into cryptocurrencies world I do agree that news do affects the market significantly.  When China was attacked bitcoin in February to April last year we actually find out how news affects the market and that is why we were rushing to sell when those news hit the market.

I think stupidity is a little harsh. Maybe we can call it restlessness. Not everyone has the balls to stomach bad news especially in matters concerning their investments. There are some news that can really make people uneasy and sell their cryptos instead of hodling.

Cryptocurrency is new and there are new people coming in every day and those whales take this opportunity to manipulate the market by having bad news one after another so that the price would plunge and they can buy more whereas those who are new to the market seeing those big red candles would panic and then sell their position even though they are at a loss because they don't want further losses. You tend to be emotional when you are new in trading that's why price fluctuates so much when there are big news.

It may just be candles that you can see in the chart but you can see how strong the bulls and bears are when there is news. An immediate pump or dump upon the release of the news is enough explanation of how the people respond to news. Stupidity is a strong word though. It is just that people trade more on emotions rather than being level-headed and trading according to their plan or it may be that they do not have any trading plan at all but just following the crowd buying and selling the coin that is hype at the moment.
