Of course social news greatly affect the market. News can change someone's opinion over something. It also influences people to believe something about certain topic they are reporting. They can spread false news about cryptos that can change their opinion and beliefs about it. News can brainwash people to instead of believing and showing that cryptos are helpful to people turn/make it to be useless and some kind of scam and bubble which can pop and die anytime which is not true.

There are many people in the crypto who are not very expert in crypto and they often rely on the news of other people and when they hear any bad news about crypto they afraid from that and they then escape away to think that they will be secured. In this way it can affect.

Actually, for most of us that is always the case and also the reason why when we heard of some news even though its not true the price of bitcoin changes rapidly.

Absolutely not, because the stupidity of people will always be in the class that is a beginner in the field, and of course that do not affect on the movement of the market because the majority of them do not have a big budget of money to trade. Moreover the only category affect on the value of cryptcurrencies (market) are the whales (capitalists) because they have a large proportion of money, so they always manipulating the market in order to achieve their future goals .

I don't think so, its true that the price can be manipulated by whales but is in small quantity. After that, it will be a domino effect, the weak hands will sell their coins and the bad thing is that they are in many numbers that contributes to greater loss.

Imo it's not stupidity what affects the movement of the market but rather shrewdness of the whales. It breaks down like this. Whales selling hundreds of millions USD worth of coins(which affects the market) to lower the price. Regular people panic sell millions USD worth of coins but it doesn't affect the market and that's wny whales have two options: 1. Sell more coins to lower the price even more (risky); 2. Wait couple of months buying little by little at low price. They can't buy all their sold coins back at once since they know that the price may skyrocket in that case and that's why they do it slowly. They know well that regular people can't affect the market so it's up to them, whales, to decide when it's time for the price to start rising.

In short, I think when the crypto adoption will reach the point when most coins are not held by whales, but by regular people, the manipulation will stop and crypto will be much less volatile.

It seems to me that you are exaggerating the possibility of the media. They do spread a lot of fake news or jeans. But this is only one part of the problem. We decide whether to respond to the news or not. Why do people panic? I'm sorry that the price of my assets has gone down, but I'm not selling them cheap on any news. We always make the residual decision ourselves.

Lots of news talks negatively about Bitcoin without knowing the true value of Bitcoin.They just know how to judge and criticize the disadvantages of things without knowing the advantages of it.
