My friends told me from the beginning that i should not store coins on a exchange.
They said that a exchange can be hacked or suddenly disappear with my coins.
Therefore, i can not advise anyone to store coins on a exchange.
Not good to store your coins in an exchange for long, day trader is good to do but not safe to kept. This is absolutely correct exchange can be hacked as many users getting scam in the exchange.

I feel keeping our coins in exchanges, mininize the risk of loosing our coins to wallet hackers.
They are not that safe as there's a lot of cases of exchanges got hacked and lost lots of money so it's certainly not recommended to store your money there. If you want more security then you should consider buying a hardware wallet whether it is ledger nano or trezor as they can prevent your coin from getting stolen.

Dear all,
"Coins kept in exchange, are they safe?" Oh, that is very interesting question. And it is difficult to say it is safe or not. The trust of exchange is the key factor to beleive it. The trust is built in a long time. We can beleive it.

I prefer to keep coins in my wallet, or on a large exchange. But no matter how good the exchange may be, it can be hacked.

I think Binance and coinbase are an exception, otherwise don't keep it on the exchange.

can i ask why you think that Binance and coinbase are safer than other exchanges? do you have some information about that?

Many people keep their savings on stock exchanges, but I'm not a supporter of such cases, I think that storing tokens and coins must necessarily be stored on separate purses. I think it will be much safer than storing on stock exchanges.

Keeping our coins in exchange is very dangerous because hackers are now intensifying their ability to hack, as the current incident of hacking hit binance and other big exchange company, even though they had install software for security measures but hackers still manage to hack their system, furthermore it is safer to have your coins in hardware wallet rather than in exchange.

I think you need to keep your coins in several purses so as not to lose them. I would advise you to use your hardware wallets, it's safe. I do not advise you to keep coins online.

In my opinion,  it depends on what will you do to your coins. If your coins will be use in day to day profit or swing trading, you have to keep in the exchange site to trade easily. But if your coins is for long term investment and hold for a while, it is good to keep the coin in your personal wallet that  you have own control with the private key.

I would not store my coins on online resources, especially if they cost more than $ 1000. They are often hacked. Better use hardware wallets.
Agreed. Especially when you have a very large capital, is not it that you will be sorry to allocate a percentage of hardware storage? In business, this is called costs.

they are safe in most cases, unless they are hacked, and I mean in large exchanges like Binance and bithumb, never put money on small exchanges for a long time

If you store coins on the exchange then you can lose them at any time, because the exchange can cease to exist

if in my opinion saving coins in exchange is too risky for now, but because we know that this is a hacker's general target, it's okay if this coin is for short-term storage but for the long term, and it would be better to keep it on a hard wallet, like the Nano booklet, I think of it as safe storage.

Your guess is as good as mine, exchanges offer little to no protection to traders in case of security breach or emergency! If you are not actively trading, there is no point keeping your coin on any exchange!

In my own opinion, it is not safe to keep your coins inside the exchange, it is because hackers might hack it. I suggest you use your personal wallet in keeping the coins in that way it is more secure than keeping it in exchanges.

I would not leave coins or tokens on a exchange for longer than necessary!
As a result, many people have already lost their money through a hack or scam exchange.

Nope, that's wrong. That even increases the risk of losing your coin. Most of crypto hacking happens in exchange sites. If you want your coin to be safe, just put it into hardware wallet. That's the safest method to avoid hackers.

's wrong to keep coins in exchange offices. I understand that you store on different exchanges and think that it minimizes your risks. But in fact, you do not take into account the fact that the risk of hacking hackers is not less on the exchange and this is added to the risk of freezing your funds by the management of the exchange.

Do not store everything in one "basket" - it is better to use several wallets and exchanges. Keeping on stock exchange or wallet - no 100 % guarantee that you will not lose your coins
