Bitcoin will become obsolete? I think that could happen, but it just saying that dollar could become obsolete someday. Everything has its starts and end, and I am sure with that. But it could take a long time in order for a certain currency to end.  Imagine in those old days, when people are using gold as a payment, they even use a little sack with a tie to store those gold coins. But what happened, those gold coins are gone, and it is mostly replaced by bank notes. In the near future, when the technology is not suited to the community it could be obsolete, but it doesn't mean that it lost its value. If one could find a gold coin in the early years, I am sure its value is much higher than the year it is being used.

I also think bitcoin is facing many challenges at present. More and more altcoin is beginning to be better than bitcoin.
And people are using bitcoin less and less, which is worrying.

The predictor says its useful,  its visible, but one day it will be obsolete.
One thing I want to say people wants to says negatively.  this is a new technology, we can't appreciate new things.

If bitcoin become obselete, must be a new coin with more advantages than bitcoin. From what i understand, bitcoin circulation still not max supply and i think untill max supply mined, bitcoin will more expensive

Anyone can be an analyst. Can a stupid analyst give a specific time? In that case, I dare to say that I am an analyst. I think the BTC died in a few hundred years, don't you think? Do I have a point?

Yes do not trust these analysts because most of the time it's useless. You must have your own judgment. Bitcoin and Blockchain can not be separated, but Blockchain has a unique value. However, so far this technology has not been used in full force. Therefore, for Blockchain technology, it can be said that everything is still ahead.

Let's clarify: He didn't say Bitcoin will be obsolete one day, he said blockchain technology will be. He also said that it will be on the basis that intelligence agencies will be able to decrypt it. Well, good luck with that I suppose.

I do think blockchain technology being obsolete is an inevitability though, but unlike Friedman, I think it's going to take a couple of lifetimes, and it's going to be because of a similar but superior technology being invented.
Decrypting the whole blockchain is almost as good as impossible. Let them try but I will bet that the blockchain technology will still prevail. To that end, I hope that people will try to accept a lot more about technology since it is very helpful.

Analysts in crypto usually sound like they are just expressing biased opinions, not true analysis.
I have never heard about a model successfully predicting btc's price on a regular basis.

maybe you mean a very drastic decline because bitcoin is growing in popularity for trust and usage will still be plentiful even though the price drops some of the news you read is not necessarily the truth so I suggest you keep believing.

Everything is going to become obsolete one day, don't you think with everything going digital the cash is also going to become obsolete. Also try not to care what these haters say as they are here just to vent their anger of missing out from investing in Bitcoin during the early stages and are now trying to bring Bitcoin down.

Yes, bitcoin will become obsolete. But its value will increase. Look at the antique items, its value is more than thousand times its value to create it

I do not think bitcoin will be outdated in the future because it opens up a revolutionary new technology. It helps us make more money by investing. On the other hand, blockchain ensures our information is not disclosed. With so many benefits, how can bitcoin be outdated?

The analyst may be true. But it will never be true at this time. Bitcoins will be outdated as new platforms are created and more stable than Bitcoin. It is possible that in the next 20 years new this platforms will be created

Newsflash - encryption evolves and so can the systems that use it. How many 'experts' have weighed in by this point in time? It must be well into the tens of thousands. How many have made a worthwhile contribution that made the people who really know their stuff think? None as far as I can tell.

This is possible though, considering the fact that it is only competitive in the market because if how established the coin itself is. Have it compete in the current situation without the high value, it would be sure that bitcoin would die so easily. Compared to other coins of this generation, it only mediocre at best. And without the high price, it would be sure to die. So this should be an eye-opener and make people look for better opportunities outside the bitcoin world.

It is not a hidden fact from us investors and enthusiasts that the ever-changing tides of the market makes it hard for some coins to thrive. I think it is just fine as incompetent and dying cryptocurrencies will give way for better cryptos to come. If this does happen to bitcoin, which is not impossible considering how mediocre at best the said cryptocurrency is. This would mean that a better crypyocurremcy would be up for the rise. At first this may seem scary but in a few months or years people will see the difference.

I think there are a lot of uprising coins like the LEDU COIN. By the way here's platform that offers online education. Live.Edu  It is a decentralized professional development platform that teaches people how to build complete products in future technological fields. They are building the YouTube for online education; simply put, it is the next-generation Lynda.com. Unlike existing online education platforms, LiveEdu is focused on professional development.

very good point, I agree with you. Blockchain will surely get obsolete one day, but the question is when the day comes and I can't see that happening in our lifetimes.

Never mind what Friedman said he's no the first to say negative thing about bitcoin/block chain and he won't be the last. However, thats what does political people usually do when they are still in office, you remember what US. President Donald Trump’s former chief strategist, Steve Bannon once said when he was still in office?

It needs a more innovative project for obsolete Bitcoin. Sooner or later each state will create digital money instead of its own paper money, but it can be managed. This will not be good for our unit and we will not be free like in a Bitcoin. So these are the coins that can replace Bitcoin.
