2. Try to check their LinkedIn profile though that does'nt matter because some fake LinkedIn profile.

5. Despite all this..involving in ICO is a big risk

Well  a lot of icos are legitimate and have good usable projects. It's just that there are also a lot of bogus projects that smear their image generally.
