Boxingday is too sickening and I don't think I'm really suited to looking for the best scores when the fast times (only a few days apart) happen because there are always so many surprises that are hard to expect.
Today's slightly sickening match is Wolves against West Ham. I didn't even expect the score they had in this match.

Arsenal. Their momentum is still very big but who knows because sometimes their momentum after half-season always changes quickly and it could happen for this season as well but I hope they don't repeat the same mistakes.

They won again and they are safe on top, but in next round they are playing against Liverpool.
I was expecting Aston Villa to stop Arsenal machine but maybe Liverpool can do it, and make Premier League title race more interesting.

Late decision to be made on if Declan is in the squad or not. I expect they will take the conservative decision and keep him out of the squad or if he is included he will not be playing. As with the last game I would not want him to feature, except as a late sub, his fitness has to be managed carefully.

This is a game we have to win to keep up the average of taking points at grounds we lost last season. We meet them in a poor run of form but never can tell which Bournemouth team shows up especially at their stadium. Still I would expect a convincing win to put pressure on the chasing pack.

To be fair to me, I do not ave direct access to his medical report and training performance. I sure know what he is capable of doing when playing, that is why I was being very conservative. And that is the least of the reasons, there are a million others why I am not the manager.

Can't blame you, he was flagged on the FPL app and some managers transfered him out - I don't have him yet and was happy he wasn't going to play, he did and killed my rank more. 2 goals & 1 assist I guess.

That's true, that's our DNA but we're always unlucky against city ( play well and lose always) I honestly don't know how we're going to survive the season without Enzo - I've never been this pissed.

Sigh. And Rice rescued them this time with a brace. They are just too far away from Liverpool for any real chance, but hey, all it needs is a string of bad games and if we can do that to them like we did before, who knows? Like you said, it'll make life more interesting for everyone else too.

Week 20 was really a bad week for me in the pools and this is what I didn't expect for boxing day and games that only give a short break because I can't analyze further for predictions made.
5.5 points from all matches on matchday 20 was definitely my worst result of the season.

Its over for Liverpool and their title race,they should be lucky if they stay in top 4-5 teams and get that champions league spot. Its really unrealistic with how big the point gap is now and when we see how bad they are playing. Honestly they got too many transfers this summer and this costed them the fight for the title

On another note i cannot believe how many times im gonna lose all my points in the last minutes of the game. Had 1-2 on Liverpool 3 points in the bag and bam all gone again. If i had 25% more luck i would be first in the pool for sure.

Arsenal have led for 13 rounds in a row and they cannot give up the lead for at least two more rounds (even if they wanted to) if they lose the race this year it will be the biggest fall ever. But so far everything is going as it should, I was worried looking at the calendar, since Arsenal had much more difficult games than City, but in fact Arsenal is gaining points and City is losing.

He does look relieved in recent videos of him I saw. For the past few months it has been looking like he was way over his head. Xavi is the one who is being rumored to be the next candidate. After taking up a Barcelona that was in crisis, I do not know if this will be the next club he wants to manage at this point in the season. They could just get in a caretaker manager until the end of the season, some more coaches may be available then.

Firstly, Xavi, even with crap performances, was able to make Barcelona champions, and secondly, I can imagine the extent of Xavi's whining if he were to work in the Premier League  I missed his stories about the pitch being too wet, the referee being too bad, the ball being too round, etc.

By the way, I would be happy about this transfer. He did make them champions with a very poor team, An over achiever like him may be what United needs, but another factor is he was a legend for Barcelona, this would have helped him to manage the dressing room better, he does not have that in United, he would have to go out and make it his team.

I did not follow any of his press conferences, the ball being too round is a valid crash out, it is meant to be slightly oval

It's better for Manchester United to save money until the end of the season... maybe Fletcher will be better than the core coach who has been appointed later.

Won't say nothing new - managers isn't their problem. They can continue changing them, but it's like closed circle.  Now they will find someone who will end season, maybe he will do a bit better, maybe not. And then in the middle of next season they're going to sack manager again if results will be similar. Now they're 3 points behind 4th place Liverpool. Idon't know what they expect, that MU can fight for EPL title?

I love Xavi as Barca legend and as coach who with very limited Barca squad won La Liga. But yeah, I hated how he was crying on press conferences or always fighting with referees. Not sure how it would work in England

That's right, it's hard to be there and hope for Liverpool now that they've missed out after the not-so-good run they had from the start of the season to halfway through the season.

Arsenal are strong contenders but City are still behind them but it would be a bit outrageous and not really what I would expect if Manchester City were to go back to being the holders of the trophy even though their chances are still very big.
Aston Villa are pretty good but they're just a dark horse club in the Unai Emery mold so while their chances are still there, I wouldn't expect much from them.

Previously I thought that the first big coach to leave was Slot followed by Maresca but it seems that opinion was broken by Manchester United.
They are really extraordinary in making decisions and to be honest I am a little skeptical about Manchester United in the future after this big decision.

They are already record holders of the biggest falls and they have led at Xmas and NY before without winning. But I really don't see City or Liverpool gaining points with this big gap, then again both of them like to finish seasons strong so who knows.

Manchester United? Anybody would go. Its free money (because of compensation).
