I keep getting random influxes of BTC....five cents here, 1BTC there....I can only assume they're from people on the forums, as I know no one who uses bitcoins.  Thanks to whomever it may be.  I'd really like to know who.

alright, alright, i confess. i think i liked the way you explained how inflation can still occur with loans, and that a hard limit of 21 million coins isn't insurance against inflation.

i wanted to type this in the "explanation" box, or whatever, but it won't let you type in a description when not sending to an IP.

afaik you can get the transaction fees even if you are not generating coins at all.

Nope. You only get them when you publish a block. It's added to the 50 BTC created from nothing.
