 cryptopool is advertising that they had to reinstall the platform and its all good now, but miners need to reregister
kinda lead me to think that they were the only pool on top of it and fixed.. ive been minning there 800KHs for 8 hours now..
although it hurts knowing ive wasted my time at least I know to stop!

have you tried solo in the wallet?

3. console
4. type "setgenerate true"

that's it ... only way I know how to solo mine!
I only gpu mine in pools.. I feel just as screwed as you do buddy!
unfortunately I have abandoned this coin and went back to mintcoin!
wasted the entire day without a single coin to show for it.

mintcoin launched same exact time as this coin ..
 mintcoin is at a diff of 30.
 cansercoin is at 1.
that's what happens when you don't have any working pools
coin gets ignored! dev should of put his own working pool up buy now!
at this point its a fail!

Hi, what is your cancercurecoin.conf? The default RPC port is 9666. You shouldn't have to change any port numbers, unless there is a conflict with another application.

I may be setting up a mining pool. However I have never done so before. If anyone has any helpful data or advice such as server requirements (RAM etc.) then please contact me.

Please consider trying to fundraise for this research.  When we spoke to my husbands oncologist the other day he was very excited by what they are doing. He said because it is more tailored for the individual, it is very promising not only for Leukeamia and lymphoma but many other cancers as well.

Hi, I have a suggestion on how to improve this coin.


Rename the coin to Curecoin.

Have a poll on the site or in the client to determine which charity will receive the donation each month.

There are several reasons why this might work better:

The coin will appeal to more people. Some people might have not been directly affected by cancer, but I can think of countless people who have encountered some kind of illness, ailment which are equally in need of curing.

Secondly if cancer is cured, cancercurecoin becomes obsolete, whereas curecoin would move onto the next thing, as there will always be something else to cure.

Thirdly, if an epidemic hit which needed drastic donation quickly, the curecoin could be routed towards that (provided users agreed to it, via poll).

Finally, the name would be easier and shorter to remember. 'Curecoin' - 'Oh, what's that?' - 'Donates transaction fees to cure things, currently cancer, but has previously donated to cure IBS, Chrons Disease, AIDS, decided via poll by the users.' - 'Wow that's something I can get behind, my dad has X disease'.

Just my 2 cents.

You need to post the whole command line if you want help. Obviously put xxxx instead of username and password.

I can confirm that I am working on setting up a pool, but please be patient as I need to make some significant modifications to the stratum mining server code. I am hoping to get the pool online by next week into a beta phase.
