A reputable manager is important. You should find and work with reputable bounty manager who guarantee the payment of your work. I think you can find it here , there are some that are good at paying the bounty. Some manager escrow the service. But now too many scam coins make us confused.

I think to minimize the number of scam bounty you participated in, always join campaign from only trusted bounty manager, since they are trusted they wouldn't wanna ruin their reputation and the will always drop a legit campaign

Even reputable bounty managers can get scammed by the project team, sadly.

It's difficult, but maybe possible in some cases. To do this, you need to study carefully the project itself and bounty managers. There are some managers, the percentage of scams among which is simply impressive.

That's right! Agree with you. Everything's depends on our own research & analysis. If you don't have a skill about to find great project. All you need is learn & learn. Then, you will have a skill about this. And, easy to find good bounty.

Even reputable bounty managers can get scammed by the project team, sadly. Yeah, I am not sure How, they got scam by ICO fake developers. This is that what make cryptocurrency is bubble. No worth to hold tokens creation based on ICOs. I think there should be platform that verify the ICOs that are true project and will pay the bounty hunters. Certification may be important by independent institution cross nation and borders. KYC is not only for investors but also for ICO hosts.

It is not so hard, if you know how responsible bounty manager looks like and what is his responsibilites, it should be easy for you to detect scam projects.

Scam bounty campaign to determine the need to do research. Do a social media survey to identify the Scam bounty campaign. Often suspect bounty campaign team members have newly opened membership. Early learning does not leave you with time.

Try saying that to the bounty manager for TokenPay. They are owed hundreds of thousands in payment but the TokenPay scammers did not pay: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2400499.0He seems to have gone quiet now though there is a lot of money at stake

There is no mechanism to know the status of any bounty scam and you always know it after the bounty over and your all effects of promotion go in vain. I always try to join bounties of trusted and reputed bounty managers.

No, it is very easy to detect a scam bounty campaign and pass out it. Simply visit the website of the company and read the whitepaper - if it is a peace of shit - then don't join the bounty of this project.

It is really hard to detect scam bount campaigns also same time it is really hard to detect scam icos. i think icos are more important than bounty because firstly you need to understand about icos and you need to be experienced ico searcher for detecting scam bounties. there are too many subject about that. investors team whitepaper project future value token structure etc. people need to do research about all of these before joining bounties. very good whitepaper not mean always the ico will be great. so you need to reasearch other things like team and investors etc.

Move on! Don't repeat the same mistake then. actually it's very easy to be able to detect things like this. you just need to find a good source about the manager with the previous good works (which have been proven to pay) and usually their projects will be good

TokenPay scammed the bounty manager, that project had a viable whitepaper and even now the project seems to have a some credibility but they duped the bounty manager and paid him nothing.

It is really hard to detect scammed bounty campaign. After completing all the requirements to be able to get accepted in a bounty campaign, spending much time to participate in forums and not to mention carrying their banners, completing all the tasks and reports then all of a sudden you will just find out that you have been scammed already. luckily I am not the only one but to think all participants did the same efforts as well as you did. But it is really happening, lesson learned and could be just charge it to experience and move on. If we could only find out at early stage if we were in to scam or a legit bounty campaign. Who would really know anyway?
This is true it is very hard to determined reliable bounty campaigns and scammed campaigns. For me as I have joined many campaigns here, I will refer to my friends who have many experienced in this industry ask for guidance on the campaign I am going to join. Sometimes I do my own research I will read their websites and their social media if they are very active on it I will go for that campaign.

I agree that it is hard to determine which bounty campaign is really true and paying. It requires serious mistakes first before finally learning how to distinguish good campaigns from scam ones. But always learn from mistakes. Though harsh, this is the most effective teacher towards improving.

no one knows which bounty campaign will not be a scam, even though a bounty campaign looks good that does not mean that it will not be a scam, unless the bounty campaign looks good but also has a well-known developer team, may is likely to be a scam would be small, so it is better to be more careful in researching the bounty campaign that you want to join, and don't just depend on the bounty campaign that seems good, because I have found a bounty campaign that is arguably very good but it turns out that the bounty campaign is a scam.
