A world where the top 3 publicly known richest people have more wealth then the ENTIRE bottom half of the world's population.
In America there are more than enough homes to provide shelter for every person yet there are many that are still homeless. I was in Los Angeles last week and parts of that place look like a 3rd world country with all the tent communities.
People are so brainwashed they treat Elon Musk like a god yet he is part of the problem. He is just another Capitalistic overload like Bezos.
Capitalism is destroying our lives. Suicide rates and depression are higher than ever before.
A truly advanced civilization would be so far removed from our current system. We are able to produce more than enough for everyone but we do a absolutely terrible job of allocating resources.
No one is self made. Every single rich person gets rich off the work of others, the structure of society, or just people in general.

You are trying to see the third world from Los Angeles! Wrong direction. Consider staying few weeks in any of these countries... 1 Malawi $250 2 Burundi $270 3 Central African Republic $320 4 Liberia $370 5 Congo, Dem. Rep. $380 6 Niger $410 7 Madagascar $440 8 Guinea $470 9 Ethiopia $550 10 Guinea-Bissau $550 11 Togo $570 12 Mozambique $600 13 Mali $650 14 Uganda $670 15 Afghanistan $680 16 Burkina Faso $700 17 Rwanda $700 18 Sierra Leone $700 19 Nepal $730 20 Comoros $790 21 Haiti $820 22 Zimbabwe $840 23 Benin $890 24 Tanzania $920 25 South Sudan $970 Countries With The Lowest Income In The World.

Yet every attempt at replacing capitalism with a "fair" system has ended in a catastrophe. I once lived in a country that had no unemployment, no homeless, no gay people, no illicit drugs, and very little crime. Paradise, right? No. Apparently greed is a huge motivator and once that is removed and replaced with a repressive regime that sends you to Siberia if you dare to doubt the fairness of the system, then all that's left is apathy, corruption, and alcohol.

I'm not calling for a complete socialist system but if we implemented things like universal basic income to help distribute the wealth better since the majority goes to the very top. UBI needs to be seriously looked into now because of the advancement in robotics which will displace a lot of workers.

AFAIK California is already spending or planning to spend $10-20k per homeless person to deal with this problem. But apparently throwing money at it is not working... Likewise many other social issues are non-trivial.

It would be 100x better if they just gave a direct amount ot money each month to the homeless

I like your idealism but no, it would not be 100x or even 2x better. Without solving some underlying issues (mental health, drug addiction, housing availability, etc) the money would do very little if anything at all.

Capitalism is destroying our lives. Suicide rates and depression are higher than ever before.
There is nothing wrong with capitalism, but you can't have capitalism without capital. For many years now, bankers have been stealing capital from governments and individuals, and replacing it with debt. Debt is slavery, and that is what the banking globalists are creating.

Changing the whole system with bitcoin or whatever blockchain won't solve the problem either imo. The root of the problem are people, their greed and how they selfishly think. Rather than change the system which is just a consequence, it would be better to change the way people think in a sensible manner, but it's pretty much a lost cause in many countries as the op pointed out.

You are wrong for 2 reasons. The first one is this: You are trying to see the third world from Los Angeles! Wrong direction. Consider staying few weeks in any of these countries...
A few weeks may be not enough... but I suggest you try to read about some those poor countries problems. They have completely different causes of poverty, and a different kind of poverty. I believe poor people in Los Angeles have much more opportunities than poor people in Venezuela or Brazil, where even the mid class doesn't have much opportunities... The second reason is that these 3 richest people on the world are a problem caused by the governments, not by capitalism. I don't even know who these people are, but for sure they made lots of money through government subsides, or they have very little competition in their business due to regulations.

Norway.
LOL, I was actually thinking to add this to my post "And before you bring up Norway - there are homeless people in Norway." So yeah. Thanks for bringing it up. There are homeless people in Norway even though the government there is about as socialist as you can get without putting said homeless people on cattle trains to Siberia. That's not to say that e.g. the US couldn't do more to solve its social issues, what with it being the richest country in the world and all. But I don't think capitalism in general is the problem here as the OP is trying to say. BTW Norway's pension fund is the largest investment fund in the world so thanks to capitalism (and oil revenues) for the success of socialism in Norway. https://www.nbim.no/en/the-fund/

Norway has universal healthcare, free education (even for foreign students), 37-hour average work week, and one of the most comprehensive welfare systems. I don't know if there is a single resource that can tell you everything about it, just google subjects you're interested in. Siberian Gulags were labor camps where Josef Stalin, Russia's communist dictator, would relocate people who were not sufficiently enthusiastic about socialism. The preferred method of transportation for that journey was cattle trains. Norway does NOT do that.

I would add that most of the countries in Europe have similar systems in matter of Health, Education and welfare. However the main differences are that Norway has a lot of resources and in general people are more socially responsible. This last aspect is more or less true for all the scandinavian countries.

There is no excuse to be homeless in the United States.
Poor people need to stop having children they cant afford.
Bums need to get off their ass, go to a community center, get cleaned up, and find a job.
Beggars need to be thrown off a cliff.

There is no excuse to be homeless in the United States. The leading cause of bankruptcy in the US is medical bills. The US has a barbaric healthcare system that penalises someone for having the audacity to develop cancer or be involved in a serious accident. Going bankrupt from something that is completely outwith your control is a pretty good excuse, I would say.
