I have a dought, is there any automated programmes were used by senior members to send their sMerits?. Because I recently seen that one of the legendary member has been sent 19 sMerits (just one per one post only) within 13 minutes when I checking stats of recent merits. The funny thing I didn't understand is how can a  member send 2 sMerits for different posts within period of 6 seconds.

If this member maintained a list of quality posts for future reference for meriting, it's very interesting and helpful for the betterment of the forum. But if not how any member even read 2 posts within 6 seconds and gave 2 sMerits within that period. Is that member superhuman?

P.S. - I'm only pointing the fact about time gap of two posts which were merited and not the content of those posts.

May be some day I will try LOL
It should not be that hard if you know which posts you are going to merit.

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M

The funny thing I didn't understand is how can a  member send 2 sMerits for different posts within period of 6 seconds.
I've done that within 0 seconds: I open the Merit-button in a new Tab, and when I'm done reading, I merit all open Merit-tabs.

Yes, and those are 2 comments from the same thread. Nothing looks suspicious.

Mystery solved. I can't do that because I only get then from time to time.

The only funny thing I am seeing is that you are seeing qwk's way of sending merit as a automated one. A 6 second margin between sMerits being sent is not that short as you think especially if you have a fast internet as well as multiple tabs open, opening multiple posts in different tabs might be his way of finding out and screening meritable posts in that thread and will send merits after. If I am a merit-source myself I would spend some time on screening all the post in multiple tabs in each thread in order for me to save some time in order to move on the next thread.

Thanks LoyceV for your fast response and clearing my misunderstanding. I think I owe an apology for qwk.

Edited
There is also this userscript that allows someone to send merits quickly. I seem to have done so using the script in a similar fashion as qwk:

I think my dought is now 100% cleared.(Don't know qwk's fashion is similer to LoycV or DarkStar_). Gotcha There is a userscript too.

I totally agreed and seems like some merit sources knows how to manage time so effectively than others. Tongue

Copying my answer from another thread, to save some time:

Just to give you an explanation, [...]
I tend to "speed-read" threads where I find some valuable postings and just drop some merit to anyone I deem "worthy".
E.g., see the thread 2018 wird das Jahr von ? ? ?
I happened to stumble over that thread a few days ago and noticed some (medium) quality content by quite a few users.
So I decided to just "let it rain" and poured out 16 individual merits to posters in said thread over the course of some 10 minutes (took me a while to speed-read all the 16 pages of the thread).

And yes, I also do it in "tabs" sometimes.

Also, thanks for the link to the user-script. I might actually use that in the future Smiley

Is that member superhuman?
Yes. Cool

Yeah, well, I'm gonna go build my own blockchain. With blackjack and hookers! In fact forget the blockchain.

I think time gap is low but it cant be done by bot. And also it is not by superhuman. It has been done by a man. a merit can be given within 3 seconds.
