How to invest 8000$

I think it would not be a good decision that investing $8000 in just one altcoin or bitcoin. In my opinion, this amount can be divided into 2 or 3 parts. And I think neo, eth and monero might be good options.

The main goal of the idea is to make a profit. And what method it will be received is not so important. It is important that the whole market will start to grow if bitcoin starts to grow and without it, not how.

I would advise you to go with something like %80+btc, %10 reliable alts and %10 full shitcoins but with that small-medium size amount you better go %50 btc, %20 reliable alts, %30 shitcoins.

By shitcoins I mean the alts below $50M market cap like BURST, Raven, Bitsend, Bitcore... These coins are almost guaranteed to make a x10 run with the next bull market but we don't know when the bull market will be coming back so in order to keep your sanity, you better keep half of your investments in the most reliable coin, Bitcoin.

By reliable alts, I mean the ones in the top 20 marketcap list. Like Monero, Litecoin, eth or whatever you find useful.

Please suggest a relative safe but also with big gain potencial coins. Im investing for 1-2 years, maybe longterm if crypto market and blockchain shows mainstream adoption.

1.However i do like privacy coins i dont think it will show big pptencial due to goverment regulations, they will not allowd people to have conpletly anonymous transaction. However i could be wrong.
2. I think platform coins have potencial, ETH, NEO, ADA, EOS...coins should have real life chances to be used, so there cannot be problems with scalability...etc...3rd Generation platform coins? Could that be first realy usefull platforms for mainstream?
3. Lots of smallcap coins show potencial and i like them, however i dont wanna become bagholder.
4.large supply coins are harder to pump also harder to dump, but i think people are avoiding them, my thoughts are that relative short term are not bringing lots of profit, especialy established coins like XRP...how to pump xrp 10x, almost imposibble.
5.BTC is in my opinion only as investment fund, dont think its tehnologicaly advanced and real life use. Biggest advantage of btc is that it was first.
6. My future predictions for crypto are: BTC will gain alot in few years, it will go mainstream as an speculative investment for ordinary people, therefor banks will offer btc investments funds, retiremend funds...goverment and global economics will adopt reallife use of blockchain. Large country willl have its own regulated cryptocurencys, and when i say regulated i mean completly tracable and transparent coins, coins that will be artificuly maintainig its price. No real life use coin for pyment cant have 20% volatility. Platform coins will survive, probably few of them and all will have its own market. ETH for conservative companys, NEO for mainstream, ADA for tehnogicaly advanced. Privacy coins will have problems with goverment, regulations, ban...it will be used but small percent of people really need real privacy coins. I dont care if i buy a coffe with privacy coin or with btc, im not hiding anything.

for your investment is very easy you just need to buy a coin in the exchange after that you hold it until a few months just have seen the benefits you will get and you should go for investment when the price is falling.

Almost every altcoin very cheap now, you can buy from good project like neo or wan, then you can hodl and sell when we entered to bull season and every project do x5 x10. It is easy but people have not patience much.

I believe Bitcoin should take 50% or even 70%. The OP is talking about 1-2 years investment. Although I find it not too long for the price to grow bigger, it still is a good period for a good profit. As a matter of fact, bitcoin price will surely grow within 2 years. Therefore, the OP will have a bigger profit with his $8k. On the other hand, Eth can also make him a good profit because the price is growing. But the final decision lies with the hand of the OP.

i would suggest portfolio: 30%BTC, 35%ETH, 15% EOS, 10%LTC. And i think it is right time to buy more ETH and BTC at this moment. Recently ETH's lowest point is $420, now costs $470. But still worthy to buy when ETH is lower $500

Look into sole of the top coins on coinmarketcap. Some of them like Monero are very cheap and undervalued and would make great investments.

I would probably suggest for you to hold at least 60% in bitcoin and the rest would be the top 10 coins in the coinmarket today. To me, thats the safest decision because at least you dont have to do some thorough research on those coins worth less than a $1.

for investing with that much capital you better find a good coin and potentially better investment in eos, ethereum and bitcoin, because I see the three coins have a very good development and the price can rise someday.
