SUN - SunCoin Community Currency
-PreambleAs blockchain technologies are becoming more popular everyday the acceptance of its value and use it is getting stronger. Mineable cryptocurrencies are a big portion of this new ecosystem. Cryptocurrencies mining is such an expensive an energy consuming process. As mining difficulty increases, more powerful equipments are needed in order to mine coins, making energy consumption increase. At SunCoin community currency we believe this unsustainable:
- Cryptocurrencies are being mined without considering energy consumption in terms of environmental impact.
- Unbalanced cost of energy throughout the world makes mining companies to concentrate in cheapest areas.
- Energy power must be available to anyone regarding of where they live.
Our main purpose is to build a solid community that contributes with cryptocurrency projects that reduce environmental impact or at least are sustainable. By using renewable sources of energy that could be accomplished. It is just a matter of dedication and innovation that we can prove our mission to be right. Let us work all together and help return all that energy where it is really needed.
Of course this will not be accomplished in the short term, but cannot forget we have to encourage all the community to make our planet sustainable and contributing with a clean and sustainable blockchain network will be a true step forward.
-What's Suncoin Network?Suncoin Network is a community of people committed to build the first renewable energy sustained blockchain network. Still in early stage, SunCoin community will work towards providing a blockchain that includes smart contracts that will comply with +90% renewable energy consumption.
Suncoin ($SUN) will be the common currency of these projects as it will be used in payment of services, purchase of products related to renewable energies and ecological self-supply equipment.
