Hello everyone,

Alright, let's start from the beggining. I will make the story as short as possible.
So I have my thread, where I sell bitcoins with really nice rate. You can see it right there:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4387173.0

I wanted to sell this guy @hottstepper 0.2 BTC.
Here is his profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1685399
He wanted OgNasty to escrow the deal. I agreed.

Here is the private message that hottstepper sent to me and OgNasty:
https://imgur.com/a/X7HnVEJ

And here is OgNasty's reply:
https://imgur.com/a/J76Xhdo

He also sent us an email:
https://imgur.com/a/i2pjyHq

All these things seemed already fishy to me. First of all as you can see - there is no real message from OgNasty (with OgNasty being an author), instead there is my name, as if I sent a private message to myself...
But the email seemed pretty legit. However, I did not send him the BTC and I thought I will get deeper into this for a while.
Then OgNasty gave me negative rep, calling me a scammer, even though the trade has never been made and I did not scam anyone:
https://imgur.com/a/zdvlTHy

I thought "well I can agree to send BTC to his address as he is really trusted and maybe we can still get things done." So all I asked him for was to send me a message directly. Which he claimed he did and sent me a PHISHING LINK to some other site.
Here is my email asking him to send me PM:
https://imgur.com/a/VZHNlnh

and here is his reply:
https://imgur.com/a/BXVwFVR

Now if you take a closer look at this link... then...
https://imgur.com/a/wa8XEOp

here is where it forwards and also there you have my reply, after I clicked the link and saw that address, I've decided, screw this, I wanna cancel the trade, not gonna make any business with these guys... but still I wanted the negative rep removed, so I thanked OgNasty for his time and asked him if I owe him anything for that, he told me to just send him a tip to the BTC address he provided before. And I've sent him 5$ BTC as a tip to that address.
Here is the transaction from my coinbase account:
https://imgur.com/a/OZexFcF

VERY IMPORTANT!

Take a look where that phishing link actually provides:
https://imgur.com/a/vwt8ANr

To fake made-up site that imitates my inbox! Btw. I am wondering HOW THE HELL he knows all my messages etc. to make it up. Holy crap... And here is his message that he sent directly to me, but on bitcointalk...
https://imgur.com/a/33kGKDL
there is no such a message!

So OgNasty was involved in all this... as he gave me the negative rep.
But still I did not trust this guy at all, I've decided that I would like to cancel the trade and asked him kindly to remove the negative rep, I wanted to run a long-term business on this forum as my rates are pretty competitive, so I wanted negative rep removed, as it got me this "Trade with extreme caution" thing.
Here is my email I wrote him:
https://imgur.com/a/BuwUpeN

And then he has asked for a tip - I've sent that 5$ and then look at this... he wants me to pay him 100$. LOL.
https://imgur.com/a/Y12H6fe

I think it is enough of a proof

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH THIS GUY!!

Alright, now I know how he knew all my private messages.
He just knew my account details.
Perhaps he got them when I clicked the link to the site that imitates bitcointalk. Dunno how he did that, but fortunately I have changed my password right away after I saw that I got to the dangerous site.

Here is one more email from this guy:
https://imgur.com/a/cHBCfxp
where he provides my username and password.

Now guys. I do not know if this email belongs to OgNasty. It seems to, but I'm not sure. He was surely involved in all this, as he gave me the negative rep. And his real account gave me that rep, 100%. You can see it by clicking in the link of my profile and then going to my Trust.

A search for "ognasty.bitcointalk@techie.com" on google finds zero results. Same with a search for "17wDrDTMjuhCdF8x29T4VET7xtLdAf1YmJ site:bitcointalk.org" Also, if you check OgNasty's escrow thread:

The below address is the only address I will ever ask you to send BTC to.  If asked to send to a different address, you are dealing with a scammer.

168WXhArv7Fasqvi2xm5MQMfLhG18jifMe

If anything, it's hottstepper who hacked your account, or this was a setup to frame OgNasty. I mean, why would you believe that OgNasty is somehow using your account to PM you?

taking a break - expect delayed responses

There is more messages coming into play. We have exchanged more emails.
Maybe it is the hottstepper, well, glad I did not send him that 0,2 BTC, but why would OgNasty give me negative rep like that? Seriously? Then of course you think that he is involved.

I also noticed that thing in OgNasty thread, here is one of my emails:
https://imgur.com/a/aQGa62r

Actually, I did not know how all these messages work here. And this is what I got as one of the emails:
https://imgur.com/a/I9v3wzA

and the explanation why I get to see myself replying to myself:
https://imgur.com/a/xpFYp1I

I don't know about OgNasty, but he shouldn't give me that negative trust like this... Maybe he is just working in cooperation with that hottstepper or something, I don't know, but he was involved in that.
I've noticed that I cannot message OgNasty as he is ignoring me.
Well, I have provided as much proof as I could. It is late here, so I am about to change my passwords of all my accounts... I got fooled, but I am happy, because I was about to send that 0,2 BTC! And I didn't. UFF. I would have committed suicide if I had done that Cheesy LOL

OgNasty is not a scammer. It seems that you were sending what is a fake OgNasty quote to one of your trading partners.

Okay so can you explain why would he give me negative trust like this, just in that exact time if we've never had any contact with each other? Shocked

I would like to see what OgNasty has to say about this.

I would've been happy to explain this to you in PM MindRoller but before you started your scam attempt, you blocked PM's from me.  Not sure why you'd block PMs from someone who you were trying to use as an escrow agent (while providing a fake BTC address in a false quote, of course).  Perhaps a misguided attempt at keeping me from communicating with your victim?  In any event, the email obviously wasn't from me, nor were any of the quotes that you were forwarding.  Thank you for making this public though.  Maybe if people see the kind of crap I have to deal with on a daily basis, they'll understand the 'nasty' attitude and why I have little patience for attempted scammers.

Well, then I really would like to have an explanation from you OgNasty. Because if there was no negative trust given from you, I would never deal with anyone this way. This was the only thing that kept me thinking you were part of the deal.

You should be embarrassed to admit you thought I was part of this deal.  Every message I received was met with something along the lines of, "screw off scammer."  Your trading partner got them all, but you having me blocked kept you from seeing them. After you continued sending messages with fake quotes from me, I left the well deserved scammer tag and blocked you as I was sick of hearing why I need to be a part of this deal, which was an obvious scam attempt.  Then, even though I wanted no part of this deal (you had me blocked, so we never exchanged a single communication) you still try and rope me into some half witted scam accusation.

I left a new trust rating for you directing people to your long post of evidence here so they can judge if my trust is accurate or not.

I got fooled. I admit. Fortunately, it did not do too much harm. To anyone, my BTC included.
Crap, how stupid I've been. It's a really good lesson for the future Shocked
Now I understand all of this, how he got my account credentials etc.. it turns out it is not the first and only phishing link I got.
I got one before all of that happened, from the guy called "housebtc". And I had to click it and provide my login details in it. HOLY SHITTT!!!
Honestly, I'm on my knees now.
All I can do is apologize to you OgNasty - please understand that this guy had actually got a big advantage over me - as he had control of my account all the time, lol, what is more I am pretty new to the forum, so I believed in this "private messages" thing where I get the message from myself to myself.

Fortunately, only like 7$ BTC loss over there.

And priceless lesson for me.

Right OgNasty, all I can do is apologize for my stupidity. However, as I say, he had control of my account. All of that crap WAS NOT me and I made sure my account is secure now.

We all make mistakes and I think the most important thing is to learn from them.
If there is anything I can do to make it up somehow, let me know please. Will gladly do so, OgNasty.

Compare here...

The case here is you sent PM to yourself, not to OG. So OG never received your PM in BitcoinTalk I guess.

I do not know about the rest however I thought this clue may calm down the OP a bit.

update:
Noticed after making my post (this one). Well lucky you. I am glad that OgNasty is clean as s/he suppose to be.

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M

Maybe you should change the title of the thread.

Perhaps a DT can tag hottstepper.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1685399 Jr.Member only buying and selling. Offering to do paypal and using OG as escrow while OG clearly won't do escrow for paypal.
